I've had "ALI" 1 year now. Radio's been the only problem, dealer replaced with no problem. Rear tires will need to be replaced soon 17k miles, I've only put 6k on it myself.

Still Love this car. Floats like a butterfly Stings like a bee. The greatest and pretty too.

It is the car's fault. Toe and camber settings wear out the inside of the fronts and the Ford engineers set the rear pressure for handling. Really, its not BFG's fault. The tires are soft to improve handling.

I'll agree with you for the fronts and fronts only....

As for the rears....I've personally seen and read here of FAR too many folks having MAJOR wear in the center of the rears no matter what PSI is being run. Those OEM rears are J-U-N-K.

Both cars are wonderful and get As.
The intermittent hood squeak is only complaint.

I've had the '04 DTR 1 year and 4 months.
Checked tread depth last weekend at 17,500 mile and the center tread is a little worn but not bad. Plan to put on the new style BFG's in a few months.

The Zanio held up excellent this wet and wild winter.
Only mods are the Daytime running lights and Bob White Decals.
But I ordered the tire valve caps and trunk liners.
Will probably trade her in about this time next year.
The son-in-law will be wanting her by then.
Hope they have another Marauder for me by then.

Well could be, but I got 22,000 miles and a ton of tread?

Well, Todd pointed out the amazing U shape to the rear tire that came off my car two weeks ago. This tire was less than a year old (put on new in April, 2004) and ran 24K. The outer edges of the tire still had tread, but the centers were worn down bald. And I ran 40 PSI in these tires for most of that year.
