Hi,
Potential new MM member here...wanted to get your opinion.
Found a 2003 MM at a local dealership with 18K. Good condition except minor paint touchups and aftermarket cell phone mount on the pass side of the center console that will need to be removed leaving holes in the carpet and underlying console. They initially asked 22900 but went to 21700 because I reached them through the Web. Have gotten down to 19980. No service records so I guess the remaining warranty is shot. Carfax report is clean. Nothing significant on a Oasis report per the service manager.
They also offered me 4500 for my 2000 base CV with 83K. Good condition except paint has a lot of small scratches. Has 16K on the tires.
Appreciate any input. Thanks

IMHO... 18K after 2 years.... not bad. I'd have an independent shop check it out mechanically. Otherwise I think it's a good price...

Good price, Low Miles....Give it a good inspection and GET IT. A lot of people are now on the hunt for these MM's, including myself. I'm keeping mine unmolested but looking for another MM to trick out. So GET IT while you can B 4 U cant.

Welcome to the MM.Net :welcome: and Happy Maraudering as soon as you jump on that deal. With 18K, KBB lists retail at $21,935 and private party at $19,465. Sounds good to me !!! :D
Sounds like you want one, may as well get one!

Sounds like a good deal. For some reason alot of People are looking for these cars now. The dealers for the most part don't have them long after they get them in.

Sounds good to me, but why would the warrenty be shot? Is this a LM dealership? If so, ask them to certify it. If not, you should still have a few months on the original bumper-to-bumper. I would look into an extended warrenty from Ford.

18K or the balance of the 36 months...I'll have to find out when it was put into service. Thanks for everyone's input.

Welcome aboard. Feel free to leave me a PM with the VIN to get the start date and any previous warranty repairs.

Why would the warranty be shot if it only has 18K on it?

I ran the VIN and everything looked clear to me. As long as the selling dealer stands behind their product, there will be no problems.
