I'm not sure, but I know that there were some guys at one of our monthly meets that were trying to sell us coil covers. At the time they didn't have Marauder on them, but I had heard that they came back with some that had it on it. Hopefully the guys that were there will speak up. As a side note they are local if anyone needs something for them.

These are the sets that the Machine shop guy, Daniel I think, was trying to sell via the site. He said he emailed Logan but said he never got a response.
They were very nice quality, I am goign for a different look, which I think he can do, but just haven't had time to get him the IGES file.
He has a full CNC shop so he could do about anything billet.

Everybody starts with zero.
Yes.
But this person has no other ID history...and the auction looks pretty good for a supposed 1st timer.
If the person started up a new account after changing ISP's or something....his old ID may be littered with negatives.
I just said...beware.
Bid at your own risk....which is much higher than say buying from someone with 99-100% and lots of feedbacks.

I emailed the seller and he has more and can make more - also custom ones.
Bidding up is not the way to get these considering several folks are bidding. It is a bad way to overpay.
Email the guy and offer him $150 set which is a fair price. If you continue to bid up on ebay, the seller will think his coil covers are worth more than they are.
Email me if you want his email address.

If they were polished stainless steel I'd do anything.
If they were chrome I'd still buy em'
But I'm not digging the brushed look under the hood. :depress:

Besides the brushed ones, he has these also - he just emailed me these pics. This finish matches the intake.

I can't believe I missed this thread...Yes, I really liked them. Yes, I'm the current high bidder. I didn't realize I was bidding against other site members and will stop at my current bid- y'all are right, it would have been smarter approach this other than ebay..DOH!
I like swapping coil covers pretty often- I'm not sure why. I currently have a stock set, a powdercoated GT set, a Kar Kraft set and a non-powdercoated GT set. If I win this auction, I'll have more pairs of coil covers than pairs of shoes. Weird, huh?:o
LVMarauder- PM sent with my last bid amount. If you want them, I won't bid again.

YES!!- The Kar Kraft covers I have don't have the gasket path machined on the back side- not a great fit.

If he's not a vendor here, and I buy them, will I be in trouble?

BTW, Marty, you really need to get outta the office a bit. Get a date, visit a Hooters, get a massage....... SOMETHING!
Dan, I figured that was you bidding. This guy looks like he does great work.

No he never got back to me. My guess is that too many people contacted him vie his ebay ad, so he might be going for the $$$$.

The only rub I have with that would be the change of the direction which the Gods Head is facing. Does Mercury ever reverse the direction or is it always facing one way?

He (Edwardo) finally got back to me.
He will charge $160 for the coil covers he already has (ones in pics).
He will also do CUSTOM covers for $180.
Covers do not include gaskets.
He is working on a design with caps for the screw holes.
Contact him directly.
