I'm almost done with it. Just need to install my Cobra Manifolds and underdrive pulleys, but I am happy with the look of the engine. Dealer did new timing cover on Monday, yesterday had the Stallion TC put in and today I did the PHP spacer, coil covers and intake shield.

Also gotta thank DENNIS REINHART - Marauder runs like a bat-outa-heII.

Hours into looks?

Hmmmm?

2 hours to do hoses. 1 hour to do Ford Racing Decals. 2 hours to paint and install coil Covers. 1 hour to install JLT plus chrome shield. 2 hours to install PHP spacer.

Not long at all, really.

What paint did you use for the Coil Covers ?
I have a set coming from Ray , and I want to paint the lettering in them also.

What fasteners did you use for the Coil Covers ?
And where can I get the braided hose covers from ?
And where can I get the For Racing Decals from ?
And where... ? I know, I know, search engine...

Let me stop while I still have some money... :shake:

I guess imitation is the best for of flattery?

Bought high heat engine paint (from spray can) - sprayed it into cup. Got small detail brushes and brushed in 5 coats. Then wiped away slop with paint thinner.

Really nice, Paul. The coil covers are outstanding, and I'll be doing mine. :2thumbs:

BTW, while we were at the CAM doo last Sunday, we spent a fair bit of time marveling at Haggas' wonderful Kenny Brown setup, and the one thing that strikes me is the difference between his exhaust manafolds and yours. I think Gordon said they're Cobra units, and would guess them to be powder coated. I'm wondering if you're considering doing that to yours, and think it would be a great addition to the looks of the total package.

Thanks -

I have the coated Cobra manifolds and will be puting them on the car next week.

Then I think I am done until someone makes a supercharger that will pass CALIFORNIA emmissions.

MAn, I can't wait to see the pix with the shiny manafolds. Are they silver; how about a photo of them befor the install?

Um, don't hold your breath while California changes a rule that goes in the other (right) direction. Of course you could always move to a "better" state. ;)
