I just got my blue beasty back from Dennis with a new JT-Trim on it. Everyone needs one of these things!!!! More and more I'm impressed with the Vortech JT for mod motor street cars. With the biggest pulley available it makes 9.5psi of boost through an Aftercooler and the inlet temps are low. On a 60-65 degree day we never saw inlet temps over 90 on the dyno, even after multiple runs. Dennis and I did the final tweaking Thursday when I came to pick up the car. It's only running 11-12 degrees of timing at 6000rpms and 11.5:1 A/F right now. With good gas 450rwhp should be easy to make, and after the block is rebuilt with some forged goodies we'll turn up the boost (a whole lot of boost). I wonder how much boost the JT-Trim will make ......... I'm hoping for around 20psi :)
Of course the install is perfect and looks terrific with all the powder coated parts (tubing, cooler, brackets, water crossover, etc.). The Reinhart guys even had the car detailed while it was there!!!! It'll be back at the shop next week for some brakes but Dennis did a rush job on the blower so I'd have the car for Bradenton. I couldn't be happier with the blower install (and the service).

Hey David.....
I haven't heard from you in a long time!!
Your Vortec setup sounds great!! Did you ever get the program put together that releases the TC in our cars on light acceleration?? I guess you don't really need that now since "light" acceleration is history with your car!! :banana2:

The amazing thing about David's car is it has so little timing, and the car only showed 9 PSI at WOT and the IAT was so low, with three passes on the dyno at 75 degrees OAT, the cars IAT was under 98 degrees this is what really helps, this means he can add 4 degrees timing and some 100 octane the car will make over 450 RWHP we just put a set of new rinds in the rear, this should insure low a 60' and a very good ET.

It's an endorsement to you that he picked your system, Dennis! :)
