Rim sizing and backspace

I have a 2000 Grand Marquis and I was wondering if the Marauder or Crown Vic Sport rims would fit on my car. From what I can see on wheel sites the bolt pattern is the same 5 by 114.3, but I am not sure about the back spacing. Any help would be appreciated.

The Marauder rims will fit (same bolt pattern - 5x4 1/2"), HOWEVER, they will require 1 3/8" (minimum) spacers/adapters. i.e. .....

*The above pic' is of the H&R product, however, Eibach also makes them ( and they're ~$10 less and appear to actually be the H&R). Keep in mind that the Panthers' rims are hub-concentric (meaning that the rim is aligned on the hub via a matching flange/ring; both the H&R and Eibach spacers/adapters meet this requirement.

*Note: The 2003+ LX Sport rim will require the same spacer/adapter.

BUT ... The 2001 SAP (Sport Appearance Package) or 2002 Sport rim will fit without the spacer/adapter.

*The listing(s) indicate 1993-2004, however, the pic's show dished so they'd be the 2001 SAP / 2002 LX Sport types.

I'd recommend contacting the seller for particulars ... especially since the postings also indicate 17X8". *Note: The FoMoCo Sport rims are 17X7".
