Logan....

I don't have a dog in the fight per se..... but in your last post of the 2nd locked thread.... your process isn't as simple as you make it out to be.

When I first arrived on this board a couple months ago I sent you a PM and asked how I could contribute to this board... and what a vendor would have to pay also to be with this board. I'm still waiting for that reply.

I know this is your board with all the necessary :bows: to go along with it.....

But if you are going to slam the doors on threads.... answering PMs and Emails would at least be the fair thing to do.

Did you consider following up? Heaven forbid a guy have a REAL day job and responsibilities... This site falls below about 8th or 9th in my list of "life" priorities.

So if I don't respond in a timely enough manner for you, well...sorry? Y'all and your concerns or panting over the next big thing just don't compare or rate on the same scale as my family or my day job. This is a HOBBY, not a commercial enterprise for me, in fact, it's a enormous pain in the ass to manage it all.

So I don't know what you want to hear. I can tell you what you won't hear is, "Yes sir, right away sir, customer is always right."

Point being, I'm trying to do the right thing in as timely a manner as I can, but I won't sacrifice my personal or professional obligations to meet the demands of this site. Anyone who can't comprehend or understand that can kindly appreciate my single finger salute and find another website to hang out on.

Regarding vendors, I'm not actively soliciting advertising or sponsorships. The vendor rules are here to do a couple things, to ensure this site has operating income to pay the bandwidth and equipment bills and to ensure that folks aren't using MY WORK to line THEIR pockets, without consideration.

I don't care if folks like the rules or not or if they feel the process is busted. Due your diligence. If it's THAT important to you then FOLLOW UP, make it happen, take some accountability and responsibility for ensuring that you get your way. I get over 300 emails a day related to this site, anyone who thinks I read everything is nuts.

Running the site the way you all seem to think it should run, requires a full-time staff, grow up and realize that isn't going to happen and stop *****ing at me about it.

Azmarauder, the above is NOT directed at you specifically, but directed at the 5 or 6 users who sent me hate mail for enforcing the vendor rules that've been around since the site began.

Here's my specific message to YOU folks, "Don't like it? Don't let the door hit ya on the way out.".

'nuff said! I'm done discussing it. Everyone give up before I start pushing buttons to shut y'all up. I hear ya. I appreciate ya. I do the best I can with what I've got for ya.
