In the May 2005 issue of Hemmings "Classic Car" magazine
on page 23. the 2003-4 MERCURY MARAUDER is listed
as being (honorable mention) as a possible collectible car.
Get 'em while you can!

I don't know how I feel about this. It's cool that a book like Hemmings recognizes an underated car but I like the idea that it's "our" secret. Most folks don't understand why we bought these boats and that's part of the ownership fun.:)

It's kinda strange. Hemmings is (although it was in their Muscle Machines magazine) the same group that ragged on our cars and picked the 10 yr old Impala SS as a better pick! Maybe they got a ride in someones car that wasn't afraid to get into the gas!!

Limited edition premium American RWD sedan with powertrain upgrades.... how can it NOT be collectible?!

Just think, there will come a time when future Marauder owners will be desperately searching for commonly replaced things like original oil pressure gages and 3.55 gear sets (well they probably won't be concerned about the gears).

And when they slammed the Marauder we all knew that they didn't know what they were talking about. Now that they say something nice we will have to decide that they are pretty smart.
