After i whined about poor tire life, and had a shock go bad, the dealer is giving me new shocks and a free alignment---and a car to use while it s in service. They did however "lose" my paperwork twice and took 3 weeks to agree to do it. Marauder has 11090 miles on it , a 2003 i bought new, and just got new tires. Also having the K&N cold air kit put on it- only because the shop who installed the tires shipped from Tire Rack had 1 someone ordered and never came back for- so i got it super cheeeeeep. BTW the dealer fired a service assistant who had lied to me about the shocks and alignment. Osman Mercury, Melbourne FL.

Rayaa,

I just purchased my (previous owned) 03 300A three weeks ago from Mullinax Ford-Mercury in New Smyrna Beach, just North of you. Mark the Service Manager "Bent Over Backwards" to make me happy with a couple issues I had.

Because I live 50 miles from New Smyrna Beach, I use my local dealer, Prestige Ford, in Mount Dora. They have a "Senior Master Technician" that I trust very much. Only one thing wrong. A week ago tomorrow, he was promoted to Service Manager! I told him that he better assign a Tech to me that knows as much as he does about Ford products. :bows: I trust him so much, when I had my 98 Continental, I phoned him at his cell number from Phoenix, and from Orangeburg SC, when I had problems in both those places, for his advice, and to make sure that I was not getting screwed on repairs.

Plaza Lincoln-Mercury in Leesburg, also has a Tech that really knows his stuff. He is the Engine man, when they have to pull and engine apart and back together again. I've seen him pull Intec engines apart and put them back together again, and they run like a top. The guy knows his stuff.

Always nice when you can trust a Dealer or Tech.
