Beautiful day today, went by my brother-in-law's house; found him working on his boat, so I jumped in the boat to help him remove the steering drive cable. After working for a while, I look up and see a FHP officer approach and ask us "who owns that Marauder ? " at first I wonder " what did I do ? " so I said "it belongs to me" he extended his hand and said "that is a nice car" .

I look a little closer and notice the badge and it reads mcelderry and I realize that I have in front of me Officer Brandon McElderry the FHP officer that was recently shot in the line of duty during a traffic stop gone bad. Well it was kinda like meeting an old friend you haven't seen in a while, I showed him my car and the little things I have done to it.

We talked about how much he is enjoying the DTR MM. assigned to him and what a great pursuit vehicle it is, we talked about the upgrades that Dennis did to his car and other FHP MM's and most important, that he looks like he has made a full recovery from his gunshot wound and is back to duty serving our community.

He is very impressed with our club and very grateful for all the well wishes he recieved from our members and hopefully he may be able to attend one our meets, for the icing on the cake he was kind enough to allow my nephew to snap a few pictures

I had called him and have invited him to our Sept. 19th meet at Gainesville. I will take him for a ride in the 453 HP version of my car when he is off in the next couple of weeks. Then the 575Hp version when it gets installed later this summer. He thinks he can make the meet in his FHP DTR and rack it up to public relations (which it would be)

Nice story. I had mine about two weeks when I met an FHP officer eyeballing mine outside a Hess store.

She was very nice (I mean that in every sense of the phrase) and complimented me on the car and just when I was about to entice her to go out with me on a date in it she said goodbye and went over to one of those mini-trucks parked in front and stuck her head right inside it.

Bloodhound on the hunt. I have the worst luck sometimes.

I can't seem to stop thinking that she has company handcuffs she takes home with her every night! :D

Would driving an MM even though it is not his own, make the P/O's "honorary members"?

Would driving an MM even though it is not his own, make the P/O's "honorary members"?A LEO that drives a Marauder on duty I would consider a most "honored member". :D

Just a note: All FHP Officer's in the State of Florida are Honorary members of our group ,they have joined us in the past & are alway's welcome to join us at any of our meets .
