I love my digital gauges, but these new Nexus gauges may just wind up replacing them.

Autometer has developed a line of gauges that are not only new looking (they have what's called a "lens forward" design and bright bezels and a new Autometer logo), but they feature LED illumination through the dial and you can pick from seven colors and five demo sequences. Each gauge can be programmed to go into full-face red illumination as a warning mode if the readings exceed limits that you can set. Also, each Nexus has 35 seconds of playback memory and peak recall for simple data logging. You can also add a data card and Autometer's N1.0 software (the memory card slips into the remote control... and yes, these gauges have a remote control...) so the system can log up to 11 minutes per meg of memory card space then display graphical data analysis and virtual dash playback on your PC or laptop. The gauges link together with a network cable. Available gauges are oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, boost/vacuum, EGT, fuel pressure, and nitrous pressure. All link to gether and connect to a central processor.

Check on the link above for a great video presentation of these amazing gauges.

I agree, very cool but too pricey for me. None of the gauges are under 200 dollars!

Yeah,.. very pricey. I'm not sure if I want to spend over a grand just for gauges! I'll add this to the list of 'stuff to buy when I hit the Lotto'! :P

And,.. maybe I'm just being picky but,.. I'd want ALL my gauges to be the same kind. No voltage gauge yet,.. I don't even know if they are planning on making any. I guess the transmission temp gauge should be out this fall.

I would like to find out what gauges they are eventually planning to offer.

From reading about the gauges, the trans temp will be out next and they say more to come. My guess is volts, too.
