6 arms, 2 upper, 2 lower, and 2 watts links.
Got 'em on the group guy. Total $678.41 incl. shipping.
Went out to buy a tube of synthetic chassis grease today for my grease gun, which I cleaned. Don't want any random petrochemical molecules eating those nice poyurethane bushings.
Q: They're anodized alloy. Should I paint them? They look awesome as is. If so what about clearcoat?

I wouldn't paint them. Clear coat is a good idea, but do you think it will chip or peel off?

I wouldn't paint them. Clear coat is a good idea, but do you think it will chip or peel off?You made me think. I've got a friend that is a paint & body man and he says the modern urethane clearcoats can be made very hard depending on how hot and how long you bake them, too long or too hot and they're brittle and chip easy, not enough of either and they peel. I think I might consult him about it if I decide to do them later on.
Right now I think I can't wait and I'm gonna do what shakes_26 recommends and see what happens. Undercarriage bling is definitely way down on my list of priorities. I got a date with my jackstands tomorrow morning! :D

Got them installed today and (just like when I got the Diablosport tune installed) what happens?
It rains! :mad2:
Well, as Scarlett O'Hara said, "Rhett, if you leave, where shall I go, what shall I do?"
Wait. No that's supposed to be...
"After all, tomorrow is another day."

Ok kind of what I ment was, to paint um you have to prep the surface and that would mess up the clear anodizing, or the paint would chip off. If you could get the bushings out and back in a black powder coating would look nice. Oh and BTW I worked at cape canaveral AFB and lived in Cocoa beach FL, for two years and I didn't have a genei and they didn't call me major Nelson,so as far as the salt goes it's called work, clean, clean, clean.

When you worked at the Cape did you have to drive through the salt water along the beach?...I read that oven cleaner will strip anodizing off from aluminum [like Dow spray can oven cleaner]...I bought a can but I haven't tried it yet...any one know if it would work well to strip & prep my 2 fullsize spares for powdercoat?????....the paint people said to sand them lightly.....

I don't know, my powder coat guy does it for me. But I can ask him for you and see what they do? Oh and at the cape you don't really drive though salt water along the beach, but when you wake up in the morning your car look's like it has litte pieces of rock salt that is stuck on to it thoughout the car.
