Today in the US Mail I received a New Vehicle Driver greeting letter from JDPower & Assoc. Has anyone else received the PRE-Survey Letter announceing that 'your new vehicle survey will soon be coming to you and, oh bye the way, pls fill it out promptly and we will reward you with a $CASH$ incentive' ?

I have previously received a phone call from JD Power & Assoc regarding the Corvette shortly after I got it. Subsequently, I got a big survey from Ford about the Blue MM and also the Red MM, but never any WRITTEN surveys from JDPower.

Obviously, this is not the INITIAL `after the sale/within 90 days' type survey. If anyone can shed some light on this, pls share your experience.

Thanks,
GordonB

Thank you MENINBLK and Merc-O-matic for sharing.

I was trying to guage what in the world JDPower was after -- real world experience or some sort of bull... I guess it is legit, but I am always skeptical. No follow-up US MAIL survey YET!!

I got one also Gordon, and am waiting to see what the cash incentive is. For $1-$5 I stick the money in my wallet and the survey in the trash. For $10-$20 I look the survey over before throwing it in the trash. ;)

That's why they only get NEGATIVE surveys on the Marauder,
and all you can do is complain about them...

Nope, not true, Pete. They skew the questions/results to reflect their pre-concieved agenda(s) and tell the guys paying them whatever they want to hear. Meanwhile, I make $50 an hour, and at their offered pay rate, I figure they're in the hole, just to get me to toss their crap into the trash, never mind the 20 or so minutes it would take me to give fair, thoughtful answers to their questions. ;)

At my rate, I figure you owe me $7.50 for the 9 minutes it took me to post this answer.

I haven't received the real survey yet. I'll see how busy I am when it comes. Unfortunately, right now is just not a good time for much.

I fill them out.I also keep the dollar:P

I have been surveyed by J.D. and others at least five times{5 surveys=five dollars;) }.
I have never recieved any survey from Ford.
I even called the customer service number,I was told the surveys are random and are not sent to all that purchaced a new F/L/M product.
I found out later that this was false.
Ford probably looked that I have worked selling Fords for fifteen years, and shi+ canned it !

If it took you a whole 9 minutes to post this, then you gotta do what BigDogJim does,

GET SOMEONE ELSE TO DRIVE!

Takes me 5 minutes from the time I open it to the time I seal it.
If you have to THINK about an honest opinion, then it isn't honest.
