They even installed a Mustang Cobra supercharged engine and standard transmission in it. It's been mentioned in various magazines, but I don't think any have done a complete story on it (could be wrong - just haven't seen one).

I believe our MM's 04 have the Airride suspension (at least in the rear). There is a switch you're suppose to switch off when you jack the vehicle up to change a flat and reactivate when you're done. It's mentioned in the owners manual.

We have air suspension but Airride is a brand name for a replacement system. I've seen some street rods with the Airride system. It's sweet. You can easily adjust the ride height and it is load leveling. I think that for real handling you could do better with well designed springs though.

I know this switch better than the dealer ..If i don't turn it off prior to going to the dealer they(dealer) will not turn it off before putting the car up on the lift..And when i tell them as i pick it up every time they laugh about it as it is a joke that they keep forgetting ....
My question is will this eventually ruin something underneath or with the air suspension and if so what???

I saw the same episode today as well....

It was a rerun but still has lots of great 'myth' disproving facts in it.

I want to put a full air ride suspension on my car very bad. I called AirRide Technologies 2 weeks ago and ordered the newest catalog (my current catalog is 2003).

They do not make a pre-fabbed kit for the Marauder or the grand marquis/crown vic but he said they could help me put together a kit for the car. At the time I didnt have my Marauder so I couldnt tell him anything about the suspension thats on the car.

Now that I have the car I will be working with them once I get the catalog to put together a kit for my car.

It isnt top on my priority list but is in the top 3. I didnt even think about calling Pauls to see if they would share their info on what they used on that car. I didnt know thats whos car it was. Thats a thought...
