FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FROM THE DESK OF
WILLIAM FORD Jr. CEO

The Ford Motor Company is announcing the immediate reacll of all 2003-04 model Mercury Marauders. During routine testing it came to our attention that the driver enjoyability factor (DEF) was increased exponentially in the presence of performance increasing modifications (PIP) {supercharger/higher gear ratios/headers} etc. Therefore to comply with federally manadated CAFE (corporate average fun & enjoyability) requirements we are recalling ALL Marauders for the following retrofit:

1. The 4.6 Valve motor will be replaced with a 6.8 liter motor fitted with a twin screw Kenne Bell supercharger. This motor will produce 725 HP at 3000 RPM. Torque has been improved at the lower end of the power band with a peak of 850 ft/lbs.

2. The transmission will be replaced with a 6 speed manual to handle the additional power.

3. Rear wheels will now be 22"

4. All Waterfall insignia will be removed.

5. New Scoop hood to accomdate larger engine displacement and blower.

MM owners may have their vehicle serviced at any LM dealer for these modifications starting April 1, 2005.

Thank You

Do you have the "TSB" number? I went down to the Lincoln/Mercury dealership and they said they needed the number before any work can start on the car.
