Very little in our cars is really leather. It is just very good vinyl. That includes the center console lid.

Todd, there are no dumb questions. But I bet we can generate some stupid answers.

I was hoping for more leather. I assume the seating area and where your back rests is leather. And the steering wheel cover is leather.

I guess the seat backs and sides are vinyl???

Today I cleaned up the inside of my car as part of my spring cleaning projects. Dusted, washed windows, Armor-All on the plastic interior trim bits, and Lexol for all the leather parts, including the center arm rest. It doesn't seem like the same leather as the seats, but I figure a little Lexol can't hurt.

Also ran half a can of STP throttle body cleaner through the intake and got all the goo cleaned out of it.

Next week: first hand wash of the year, first wax, and a long and careful cleaning under the hood. What a mess it is after all winter. Bleh. :puke:
