It's big, black, and MEAN!! That's right! On Monday, I will be taking possession of a Black '03 300A! No, it's not Deerejoe's (although I'm sad to see someone return their car:( ).
Yesterday, my bro was at our friend's dealership and he texted me that they had a black MM with only 13000kms on it. I promptly called my friend who works there and asked him if it was true. "Yup." he said. I asked, "Can I come see it?"
"Sure." he says.
So the girlfriend and I go down after work and he already had it off the stand that it was parked on for the last week (gave him s*It for not telling me about it earlier). Took it for a drive. Had a hard time hiding the smile on my face from my girlfriend. She had the same difficulty.
Got back to the dealership, had them run some numbers and they called me today and said I was approved
So Monday the CVLX is going to be traded in for the MM. I can't wait!!

Thanks, everyone! I'd love to, but my girlfriend's brother is getting married that weekend. It really was a no-brainer. The two cars are night and day different from each other. I've got a lot of forum searching to do now. :D
BTW, it is a 300A if it has remote fuel door, traction control, long overhead console, and small spare, right? Or is it a 300B?

Get ready to have that silly grin plastered all over your face 24/7. :D
Congrats on the fine new ride!
:banana2:
BTW, I think all the 300As had full sized spares, at least mine does. It might be a 300B.

Yeah, I think it's one of those "weird" 300Bs, 'cause it has remote fuel door, but has traction control. I've been reading the searches I've done and it seems there's some discrepancies going on. I'll look closer when I pick up the car on Monday.

From what I've read the Canadian cars don't follow the same pattern. It sounds like you've got a Canadian car. Funny how that works out.

Yup, it's a Canadian car, eh? :D
Apparently, the previous owner never really drove the car, that's why it only has 13000kms on it. The salesman told me the owner hammered it on the highway once and it scared him. So he traded it and an Explorer in for an Expedition, 'cause it just sat there.
Most excellent purchase! Congrats!! :D

Ditto.
I've had a '98 GT, '02 GT, and an '04 MACH 1. I ended up liking the MMs so much, I sold the MACH so that I could buy a second MM. EVERYONE I know thinks I'm NUTS for having two of the same car. Obviously, none of these people have driven a MM.
Besides, they are not the same.:D One is an '04 SB w/ moon roof. The other is an '03 300A Black. Completely different, right?!?!?!;) ;)
Anyway, hope you enjoy the car.

Thanks again, guys! I couldn't sleep at all last night wondering if I was going to be approved or not. I'm going to slowly get into modding it, but first I need to buy that "ring" for a certain girlfriend soon. She's been really understanding and patient with my hobbies.

I can understand, my wife still gets scared when I only 3/4 floor the pedal on the highway. Most fun is hearing her say, "Do you know how fast you're going?!!!"

I think my first reaction besides the ear to ear grin when I was "forced" to fit the go fast pedal was "wow." I was on the phone with my wife and she laughed. Enjoy it...I know you will.

The salesman told me the owner hammered it on the highway once and it scared him. When I hammer it on the highway, OTHER people get scared:D
