While at the Track yesterday, 60*and clear,I saw a Dodge magnum hemi wagon run.It did 14.6 with full exhaust and K&N panel filter with a 3" hole cut in the factory air box (ducted with flexible hose to the front grill)The car had 3500 mi.and custom 20" wheels.I have to say it did look pretty cool,But I have sat in one and was not impressed with the interior or seat position fit and finish ect.I wanted to race him but we never lined up together. He ran the same E.T. as me that day.:o

I understand that they don't like to be called "station wagons". The proper term is uh, uh ........ utility vehicle ... per a prior thread.

I was gonna try and see if a(station Wagon) comment would ellicit a similar response,But the fella driving the High performance utility vehicle was not the owner. He confessed that the car /wagon belonged to his brother,so I did not play it that way;)

Isn't a lighter, smaller, slightly more powerful car supposed to be faster than ours? This is just a question interesting minds want to know?

Bought one Saturday. Fit and finish appears to be pretty good. A few more bells and whistles than the MM. Leather is a little stiffer than my MM, but maybe it will soften up with use. Not enough miles yet, in my opinion, to give it a good, but I'll let you know. Any offers on the 04 MM?

I was impressed with the RT that I drove last fall, and was really impressed with all the eqpt that thing had that my MM didn't, for only $600 more on the sticker. Couldn't get it for $12K off the sticker, though, like I did my MM.

A buddy brought by a new Dodge catalog with pics of the the new Magnum SRT8, and that thing looked BAD! It was black, with 20's, and those of you who complained about the MM seats offering no lateral support would LOVE the seats in the SRT8. All black and nice big side bolsters.

Rides magazine (not, it's not affiliated with the TV show) has a short article this month about the Magnum and how shares that same platform as the 300C. To illustrate the fact that a lot of the parts are interchangible, they ran a picture of a Magnum with a 300C front clip attached to it. The article goes on to say the 300C's mirrors and a lot of interior parts can be swapped out in the Magnum as well.

May I take a moment here to say SHEESH! You can buy a $3,500 custom grille for the 300c, all billit, as well as $1800 EACH for billit fender vents. And to add insult to injure, EG, the maker of a lot of aftermarket stuff, has just released a custom replacement grille... for the 500!

They just ignore the panthers.
