about two months ago I was contacted by some record label from the mid-west asking if I can hook them up with a classic (1956'ish) Crown Victoria or the likes...

I gave them the info to the place where I saw an old Vic once at, but I don't know how that worked out... it was at some NYC movie production place in Newark so it might have been borrowed as well....

So, anyone has an old Vic or Marauder?

Most of the Classic Marauder folks hang out on mercurymarauder.org

There's not too many of them around, I've been toying with the idea of getting a 69/70 Marauder just to be different. They're cheap, come with 390'2/428's and are pretty darn cool.

Unfortunately, My garage ain't big enough for all the toys.... Sigh.

Just ran accross this and mercuryclub.com:

1955 Crown Victoria and 1956 Mercury Montclair 2-dr. ht. I have owned both cars for over 26 years. These cars have continental kits and skirts, are straight and rust-free California cars requiring an easy restoration. For accurate and full description, call Ted Forbes at (250) 642-6704 Pacific time, or e-mail typhoonted@shaw.ca. (11-02)

A member of the unit I served with in Vietnam has a very fine convertable with the 1st year Marauder package, 427 c.i./ 390 h.p. He has won many trophies in regional and national events. Hers the good part; IT'S FOR SALE ! Last time I spoke with Joe he was considering selling it. You can se it, at the International Marauder Registry, or write to me and I can forward pictires. He has been told that his is one of 3 left.
