My baby just started blowing smoke all over the freeway, pulled off, and it looks like the rear tranny seal. Is it a off white or yellow seal at the rear of the tranny right at the driveshaft? Should I be able to see it? Cause I can and this is where the geyser is coming from. I limped it home- about four miles, mostly in Nuetral. All the fluid is still the right color and is still registering on the dip stick.
I have complained to the dealer about TC shudder at ~18K miles and now this at 34K miles. I want them to tear the tranny apart and have it looked at. I have not made any calls and the car is in my garage at home. suggestions?
I have a call into Wes and will be talking with him later. I'll keep y'all updated.

Tranny Seal Failure has been discussed extensively on this site.
It is not caused by your transmission, it is caused the the poorly balanced driveshaft that came with your Marauder.
The only way to fix it, is to replace the seal, and replace the driveshaft with a MMX Shaft from Dennis R.
You may get the seal replaced under warranty, but convincing your dealer to replace your driveshaft is another ball of wax.

You may get the seal replaced under warranty, but convincing your dealer to replace your driveshaft is another ball of wax. I would add that the seal failure usually happens after the driveshaft imbalance has worn out the tailshaft
bushing. I would not accept the dealer just replacing the seal and calling it good.

^^^what they said^^^
As JACook mentioned, simply replacing the seal alone is not going to solve the problem...neither will attempting to have your stock DS "balanced", as it's not a matter of balance, it's a matter of DS flex. Thanks for the help guys. I'll have to post some pictures tonight but the amount of fluid on my garage floor, driveway, etc is more than I expected. there are two large puddles under the car. One is from me shoehorning (back and forth - drive, reverse, drive, reverse) it in the gargage and the other is where it sits. Must be a 1/4 quart in each spot.
