It seems to me that a lot of folks have indicated that theyt want a Trilogy Supercharger Kit, even if it takes time to save up for it. I will tell you what I would do if I wanted one bad...I would gamble and grab a few raffle tickets. Most people will spend a couple hundred bucks at the strip club, sports bar, casino, race track, or unnecessary worthless mods, without much thought. If I was itching for that elusive Trilogy Kit, I would gamble and buy 10 tickets, maybe more....thats ten chances to win out of 150! Whats that work out to....a 1 in 15 chance? Try to get odds like that in Vegas.

Roger DeBerardine, your number is #35. The number is located in the botton flang of the air inlet duct. All of them are numbered.

I have the complete list of names and numbers for all of our customers, but we want to respect people's privacy of information. If people give us permission, we will post the list.

Thanks

Jerry, I would prefer my personal info be kept off the public forums. Thanks for lookin out.

Bill Bowker (aka "Marauderer") was kit #12 I think. But I'm not positive about that, and he is no longer on this board. I know that he added a number of self-tuning changes to his engine using various electronics as well as his own tuning software in a quest for more and more power, and he ended up blowing his engine, and then he sold the supercharger to another member.

Thanks for the info Jerry!

Nope - bought it at Varsity LM brand new - having NEVER seen a Marauder (read all about them and the Trilogy kit right here!). Jerry Barnes was good enough to pick up the car and deliver it to Alternative Auto for the install - and then return it to the dealer. I flew into Detroit, was picked up by the dealer and drove a dealer-"preped" Trilogy Marauder home. I smile each time I'm driving the car - even when its not in boost!

Bill Bowkers Trilogy #9 was sold and installed by Bill to Minnesota resident Mike... (MM.Net member mrogerc) who now has #9.....buffed trim and all.

And Bill never blew his engine. His upgrades to the stock kit were a SVT fuel pump and a PRO-M MAF. From what I've heard Bill was a master (SELF) tuner and only sold the kit due to his wifes request.

Bill sold Mike the kit as a whole and not only self un-installed the kit from his own car...he installed it on Mikes. My only problem with Mike is that he beat me to the sale!!!! :D

I have Trilogy #48...installed Sept. 04 by Lidio and his crew. Updated with a 2.8" pulley and a few other goodies in 02-05.

More to come.

The next goodie that should take .2-.3 seconds off my already probable 12.1 time is landing on my door on Friday or Monday.

I'm heading to the track on Saturday. Its gonna get interesting.

11's here I come.

Okay Five-O..perhaps I heard wrong, but it was from who I consider a pretty reliable source. But that isn't important. I don't have any problems with Bill, and I always thought he was a great guy whenever I spoke with him on the phone. he definately was into tinkering, but he also definately knows a lot more about electronics than I ever did.

Anyway, this is one very cool list you've dveloped Defyant. It's real nice to see how many of the 73 Trilogy equipped Marauders are owned by members of this board. :banana2:

Keep'em coming people!!Including the Kenny Brown supercharged Marauders as well as the superchargers sold by the other two vendors to Marauder owners, there has to actually be close to 200 supercharged Marauders on the streets now. Who is "Fat Bastid" ?????Donna, he answered my question in the thread called "problem with install"...he's #76.

But that brings up another question: We're up to kit #93, but there are only 42 on the running list (now including Fat)...can you tell us anything at all about the other 51? I realise there are privacy issues, but can you at least tell us if any of them are members here, or are somebody famous? :D

Thanks guys for letting me know who he is. Yes, kit #76 was sold to Gavin. That is one of the minor problems......I know our customers by their actual name and not always by their call name on this forum. Sometimes, it takes awhile to figure it out especially if they do not refer to their kit number in their info.

The other people are probably people who are not on this forum or may have been at one time.

Maybe I will have to ask people when they call to order a kit, what their ID is, if they belong to the group :D . Note to self: ..time to change my order form again, so I can ask that question.

Many are not active on the web
.
There are also many who are "here", but wish to remain anonymous.

My cousin told me about a guy in Shelton, Ct. [the next town over from where I'm from and where Billy lives] who has a Trilogy Marauder, but does not own a computer. He works with my cousin and said he saw the ad Jerry runs in IMOA.

I think the large amount of sales to non MM.net members is simply a testiment of the Trilogy kit's wide appeal to the market and just how good a kit it is. With so many non mm.net sales its obvious that the "bandwagon" theory put forth by a few others here just doesn't hold any water. I beleive the Trilogy kit is just that damn good at delivering on its performance, reliability, and fit and finish promises.

I agree, Mike, it's been rather big of us to believe that one goes hand in hand with the other.

Kenny Brown built more than 50 Marauder S cars, yet, only 4 owners are members here. In the order of frequency we post here, it's me, Haggis, BigJoeP, and John H. Russo. That's 4 out of 50, and not a good representation for the one web site for the Mercury Marauder.

You may include Bill Hall from Portsmouth, VA., who recently got crunched in a collision, but Bill is another "I don't own a computer, and I'm not interested in getting on-line" kind of guy. He could be number 4.5, because things like this happen. The bottom line is that folks buy what they want to own it, and not everyone in America owns a computer, or, wants to, despite how we may feel about that.

This may seem odd to us, but it's not odd to them. Truth be known, had I come upon this scene later than I have, I would own a Trilogy, but not a screen name here.

I myself am not actually interested in knowing who bought what, I found it interesting that so many T-Kit owners have no interest in what we do here, that's all.Exactly...and I certainly agree with Jerry Barnes's decision to not release the names of owners...but it DOES seem rather odd that someone would install what could arguably be called "the ultimate performance mod" (and I'm including ALL brands of S/C here), yet have no desire to interact with the like-minded members of this site. Perhaps, as Tallboy suggested, these people are some of the more than 2800 members who have never posted.

This is my first post here. Almost everything I know about my Marauder I learned from this site so I have not really had much to contribute I guess.

At one point I was actually happy with it stock ( I think ). So I am one of those 2,800 sponges whose every mod was well researched on this site and well appreciated. Thanks I have learned a ton!

The car is at the shop now waiting to have the #97 kit and new exhaust installed, can't wait for the first ride in the new beast, hopefully next week.

Nittos are in too, but looks like I will have to wait until the winter to widen the rims (cannot seem to find anyone around here to do it so looks like I will need to ship them to Liddo).

Cheers

At least it doesn't look like there is anyone on there from Iowa - just judging by screen names. I still have a shot at being the first one on this state.

Guys,

We sold two kits last week to EATON Corporation for customers they are working with. The next kit number is 150.

Thanks

"WOW" !!! 150 Trilogy S/C Marauders on the road. :bows:
If you sell 17 more Trilogy S/C's, you would be over the $1,000,000. mark in sales. "Unbelievable". :2thumbs:

It's not a Trilogy, but this kit from Allen Engine (http://allen-superchargers.com/CrownVictoria/00-02.html) is a proven kit. It uses the same type of Eaton blower, but the smaller version. JohnE has one on his 2000 Grand Marquis and that car has LOTS of power at the ready.

You probably already knew about that kit, though.

Yeah i actually just saw his page today. If i do something like this, i was looking to break 13's and go deep into the 12's...figure it would cost me like $6k, maybe 7?

Kit #150 won't, but #200 will be!

will #200 be sold in a Raffle, or silent auction maybe?
Some sort of extra fanfare would make it interesting

There are still a few unaccounted for numbers in the list. Could it be posted where they went, rather than name if the owner doesn't want a name shown?
