Hello all!!!

Well the time is near....
The sale of the house is nearly complete and the transformation from in-debt-family-guy to 34year-old-starting-his-mid-life-crisis-early stage is imminent.

I have a few plans for the MM, did I mention I love this car?, but since I put so many miles on my cars I wanted to get a second car to put the miles on. I see I am averaging over 500 miles a weekend due to my living/working conditions and I just cannot keep pounding the MM like I have considering the mods I am getting ready to do. (especially with gas prices at 2.70+ for the 91oct)

anyways, I have been looking at a 2000 Audi TT Quatro. only 30K miles and from the dealer (that I have used exclusively for the last 6 years due to GREAT SERVICE and even better prices).

It is a two seater, fits right into the mid-life-crisis thing, and gets fair gas milage...Looks kina cool from an inport/exotic perspective. And it will be just under $15K. 6 speed, satelite radio, blah, blah. The dealer had it in an import shop (where I know one of the mechanics) and they tell me it is well cared for and very mechanically sound.

Anyways, has anyone dealt with the Audi's? If so, specifically...the Audi TT?
Any comments or insights would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance!
Curt

My bride to be (a librarian) will get mad at me if I didn't mention that you should ask your local librarian to look up that car for you.

They'll be able to dig up even the used car reports on it, the real NADA, and even the wiring diagrams (somehow she found them for the Marauder - I probably should download those for post here some time).

Crown Vic or Grand Marquis, nearly new can be had for that kinda price. You'll have the comfort and luxury you are used to, just not the acceleration.
