It's confirmed, I have a new Auto Meter D-PIC ordered to ship when AM releases them (April 14, iirc). I've also ordered a new A pillar and a set of Marauder single and dual pillar pods. I now have a dual A pillar pod that's coming out for this new gauge; the new A pillar triple pod will have the D-PIC on top, Dakota Digital Tranny Temp gauge next, then the Dakota Digital Tire Pressure/Tempurature Guage on bottom. The will put the D-PIC in easy reach to access the control buttons.

The reason I'm buying a new A pillar and pods rather than convert my old setup?

I'm so impressed with the look of Legal Knevil's leather wrapped A pillar triple pod that I am having the same upholstery shop do my new triple pod and both A pillars. I probably will go with something a bit different than a direct copy of LK, though there's not a chance anybody would ever confuse the two cars...

Talking to Todd this weekend, selling my old dual pod is a PITA, so I've decided that at a future Breakfast Club interested persons will toss their name in a hat and the winner will go home with a ready to install A-pillar with dual gauge pod, already painted to match the interior.

I will, of course, post up pics of the conversion and install of this gauge.

Man, seeing some of these cool gages and mods makes me question my goal of keeping my MM stock.

Can you post the AutoMeter triple pod A pilar part number?

Can you post the AutoMeter triple pod A pilar part number?

There is no part number. It is a combo of the single pod and the double pod, put together by whoever does the installation.

I see that now, thank you. I misunderstood that the "new" triple pod is a custom build, and not a new product. Must be my day for misunderstanding.

Yep, we all get to take turns at it.

I'm trying real hard to resist. In my last car, any failure I had was because of a modification or failure of the modification itself.

OMG. Donny, that is so cool! I'm still working towards your center gauges...(down on the mod-list a way... the list is LOOONG). Anyway, I hope you bring your MM, (and Marty too... has the same triple A-pillar?) to MVIII. Man, it would be great seeing these vehicles!
Can't wait to see more pics! :D
