Hey:
I just scheduled my 60k service. Odometer reads 61200 miles. All mine, and I enjoyed every, single one of them!:D
Now to my question.
I'm having the following done:
- Tranny fluid change
- Coolant change
- Brake fluid change
- Alignment and tire "rotation"
- Oil and filter change
I just did the air filter and put new brakes on. Anything else you guys can think of I should have checked or changed?
TIA!

PCV valve.
The fuel filter should be changed every 30,000 (at least), too.
Wouldn't hurt to change the rear-end lube as well. This "lubed-for-life" stuff is nonsense...Motorcraft has a 75W-90 synthetic that would be perfect.

Synthetic trans fluid would be good as well. IMO.

Save your money and leave the tires alone...
Rotating them side to side, isn't going to buy you any more mileage.
You may want to change the Power Steering oil.

Actually, most Mercon V-rated ATFs are a synth blend...the only full synth (that I'm aware of) that is rated for Mercon V is AMSOIL's ATF...
Good call on changing the power steering fluid, MIB...

Thanks for all the replies. Going in tomorrow. Tire rotation is only for the snow set. Summer set is going after the service. The dealer can't do an alignment with my OEM 18" wheels. They don't have the equipment
Thanks again,

I can do one in 10 Mins. Its easy, located under the right rear door along the frame rail. Get a flat head screwdriver and a new filter with clips (usually included)
Unplug the fuel inertia switch and start the car, let it run until it dies. Remove the old filter, install new one with new clips.
Always Wear eye protection and keep plenty of paper towels around. Try not to lay your face directly under the filter.
Heres the alldata printout
