I got my SS inserts in the other day and I was wondering if anyone else had to polish theirs to get the mirror finish their other products have ( I got the licsense plate border/guard also) They are a shiny stainless but they are not mirrored, unless they have a plastic sheet over them. Let me know, thanks.

My SS Inserts came in a plastic wrap with each letter in an individual plastic compartment for protection. They were already polished to a mirrored surface. Just had to wipe off the finger prints following installation. I don't have any experience with any of their other products. :D

Mine were like mirrors when I unpacked then. Gave them a little Zaino and I am pretty sure reality got sharper and crisper when viewed through them.

Mine are sooooo shiney, when driving behind me, they reflect your headlights right back into your eyes.... as S L O W P O K E will confirm... he was following me and was very distracted....

Yes there was protective plastic on mine. Peel it off before you install. One word on the installation... CLEAN!!!! I used Q-Tips ti get in the corners of the bumper cutouts. Even if it looks clean, clean it again.

It was the plastic...I hurt my eyes when I saw them unsheathed. WOW.

Hey Big! Yeh, it's the plastic stuff. I used a Q tip and cleaned the cutouts with alcohol, first. They're on to stay, and glad you like 'em. :high5:
