Went out for the Wednesday night Test and Tune session, this was the first run for me in the Marauder. As I waited, I met PK from Diablosport, he was driving an 05 Goat, stock except for drag radials. We chatted while waiting our turn to run, nice guys at Diablo.
Anyway I managed to cut a .194 light first time around, 2.277 at the 60', and 14.877@94.85, the temps were at 83F. Funny thign I was lined up with an SRT4, he cut a .382 light, and 2.377 60', and finsihed with a 14.03@ 101.68. I figure I did okay for a car that weighed twice as much.
Second pass about 2 hours later..... yeah a few modified cars dumped various bits and pieces on the track... I managed a .414 light (all that waiting I got anxious and I was tired), 2.280 at the 60', to finish with.... 14.730@95.88
Not bad for a NA car with K&N and tune, stock gears, tires at street pressure, about 1/3 tank of fuel. :burnout::banana2:
With some more practice launching, I think we can bring those in another tenth. The temps helped too, the second run the outside air was down to 72F from the 83F earlier. Oh and there was no way around the waterbox either so I'm sure that was no help either.
