View Full Version : PHP Airbox install question ???

The instructions state to remove the front OEM airbox mounting point. Can this be easily reinstalled to go back to the OEM airbox for winter? The PHP airbox is not usable in the winter where I live, even with the prefilter in place.

Yes.
Save the pieces you remove. I can't remember exactly. but there is but a few.
On the other hand, removing it in the winter isn't neccesary, other than piece of mind.
It shouldn't take but 20 minutes each season to do the swap.

I had it on last year, but did not remove the front mounting point. It sits a little higher with the mounting point still in place. Believe me, its not usable here in the winter. Too cold and too much water, salt, sand in the engine bay. I've tried using open air filters in the past during winter, forgetaboutit.

i use mine in the winter... i guess i dont drive enough for any real damage to occur
