Loaded my car down with 5 adults today for the first time when I took the co-workers to a training class about a half hour down the interstate.

Anyway, man does it act different! It was slow and acted like it was a struggle compared to its normal quickness when I'm alone or at most have someone riding with me.

Usually someone riding with me is impressed by its speed but today it was all exhaust and no pep!

That's what an extra 600 lbs will do to you....Kinda like going from a 4.6 Mach I Mustang to a 4.6 Marauder...

Actually I added it up and I think it may have been 700 pounds and we ate before coming back so that may be why the trip back seemed worse than the trip up there :D

Yeah, but it took 4 passengers to do it.

Some of the small cars I had when I was younger would slow down with one passenger.

During my visit to Kentucky last weekend to hangout with "MM2004" & "Embassy" I offered Embassy a ride in my Marauder, and he just couldn't part with his girl friend long enough to take a ride in my car, and insisted on her coming along too. And with that, MM2004 also had to have his wife go along for a ride too since he himself already got a ride in my car. So despite the fact that I only wanted one passenger in order for the acceleration of my car to be the most impressive, I had four people loaded in it including myself. But everyone was still impressed with how fast it was. I guess the solution to Marauders being bogged down by a carload of passengers is a Supercharger. :D

Supercharger is my to-do list right after robbing the local armored truck :gangster:

and yes, it is bone stock.

I just had this installed in the dash on my car. It lights up and sounds a buzzer.

and yes, it is bone stock.Hey, I was only throwing out a lighthearted comment, but in light of your response, here's mine...... It's alot of coin to drop, yes, but I only wish that I had done it FIRST before all the other little mods that I did to my Marauder (which BTW costed me $4,000, and didn't come close to increasing the car's acceleration like the S/Cer has even combined together). I guess it's all a matter of how badly somebody wants their Marauder to be that fast. And there are no right and wrongs when it comes to bone stock Marauders, or supercharged Marauders, or anything in between. It's about personal preference.

After all, there are other things in life than cars. But for those who are serious about high performance, there are usually ways for most of them to get the $$. I've heard of some guys on this site using the plastic money, as well as some others taking out a small loan, or using their tax return $$. My point is, that don't assume that all of us who have supercharged our Marauders neccessarily had the cash to dish out. Using plastic $$ or a loan, or tax return $$ to make your car faster isn't the most practical thing in the world, I'll concede. But let's face it, for that matter, neither was buying a V8 engined car pushing 300 HP when the gas prices were over $2 per gallon either.

So it's often a matter of how impractical you're willing to be in order to own a supercharged Marauder. And that's a decision that I know nobody can make for you. But like I've said....it's all merely a matter of how badly you want your Marauder to move like it has a big block engine under the hood. Everyone has their order of priorities, and cars obviously cannot be your top priority ( or atleast they shouldn't be). But it's all a matter of how badly you want something. Most people will find a way if they want something bad enough. Okay, speech over.:D

The rear air suspension is great at keeping the Marauder level with a five people on board. :D
