I was surfing some of my stored sites and came across this one for sale.
It is not as extreme as the one from NY. I do not know how to add a link to this thread so just go to www.larsonsauto.com and click on "rebuildables", then scroll down until you see the description. Click on the pic on the left and it will show you a few more. Maybe these can be put into the photo archive. Here is some general info: for $11,900, you can own this repairable Marauder with a clean title and 3k miles.

Rebuildable - It would probably cost more to repair than to purchase a new one. Thats a real bad hit, looks like it has frame and roof damage. Did some adjusting and would call that 300A MM totaled. John:(

One more of our so few cars bites the dust... Sadly, I think this one will become a part car as well... :(

Ouch......the things that happen to our beloved Marauders.....:depress:
That one needs to be a parts car ....tore up pretty good.

that makes 3 or 4 I've heard of. I wonder how many actually have been totaled to date?

Scary how many have bitten the dust in such a short period of time!
Clean title?? That would be a salvage in Florida.

look at it this way our cars are just that much more rare and in 30 years might be worth $ 100.000 like the old hemi cars:rolleyes:

Clean title:
In TN, if the owner asks to keep the car for a reduced settlement, the insurance company doesn't have to sell the car as salvage. The original owner can then repair or sell the car without the title having any indication that the car was "totalled". I did it twice with the same car (my wife kept wrecking, needed traction control) before I finally sold it. And yes, I did tell the buyer that it had been wrecked and repaired but some people wouldn't tell you so do your homework and know what to look for.

So that's how the side airbags deploy. Looks totalled to me. If this keeps up our insurance rates are going to go up. You have to respect the beast, or it can get away from you.

I doubt any Marauder will be worth that kind of money except for the early Nascar versions of it.
Wrecked Marauder would make a nice pickup truck.

But the original Marauders were among all kinds of other muscle cars...this one is unique in the market.
Hey, I can wish, can't I? :D

Rancho Maraudo?
El Marauder?
Maraudenchero?
Ranchauder?
Where would the CD changer and sub go? You'd need a real big trunk organizer, too!
Sounds like fun!!!!!:alone:

Buy the Marauder as salvage for $11,900. then sell the parts seperately for what they are worth, ie:
Marauder engine = $7312.00
Front bumper cover = $919.99
Tailpipes = $300.00ea.
Speedo cluster w/Tach = $299.99
Steering wheel = $209.99
18"x 8.5 Polished = $537.10ea
18"x 8.5 Unfinished = $350.28
Headlights = $104.99ea
Mats Front/Rear = $92.80
Total = $12,153.43
Subtract $11,900 from that and you profit $253.43 :bs: It's not worth the hassle. :down: Just something to think about.

That would be a salvage title in New York. A car with a salvage title, no matter how good the repair, would be hard to sell even at the wholesale price. That would be a good parts car for someone trying to clone a MM. With the rebate offered by FMC it would probably be cheaper to buy new. John

And for the record, when I put "Another One Bites The Dust" on the thingy, it was NOT suppose to mean that!
