Typical ********* Ricer...He's laughing at the poor guy and calling him names while the guy's car burns up!

Then he's all happy that his buddy beat a Z06 Vette! Yeah, the Vette had to explode for his buddy's TURD RICER to win....

If I were the driver of the Vette and that punk started up with that *****, I would have punched the Camcorder through his front teeth! :mad: :mad2:

Yo Joe, could you tell us how you really feel. :argue: Also I was kicked out of Capital Raceway this weekend because I was a marauder owner. I will tell you the story at the next c.a.m. meet. :banana:

WTF???

You've got to tell me how that happened, as I plan on running at Capitol as soon as I get my Marauder all back together...eventually! :(

Notice how the Ricer is 'sleeping on the tree'.... :sleepy:

The Vette got a full car length on the Ricer before the dork even hits his throttle, then the Vette's NOS went BOOM!

You can't even see the explosion because the punk with the camcorder is focused on his lame buddy. The guy was probably adjusting his subwoofer volume while the tree counted down....

I agree with Joe 100% You don't laugh and make jokes when a man's car explodes and catches on fire... I would have shoved his camera up his anal orifice....see if has any jokes to tell after that.

Here is the deal. The Northern Virginia Mustang Clubs (NVMC) sponsors several events including cars shows and drag events such as the Shoot out at Mason Dixon. I am a member of this club. The NVMC members were invented to the local Corvette Clubs first event at Capital Raceway last Sunday. In there flyer that adversities Corvettes, Camaros, Vipers, and Mustangs only. I wrote Charlie Geis an e-mail to request a waver. This is his reply.

Mark,

We are limiting the race and car show to only Corvettes, Camaros, Firebirds, Vipers, and Mustangs.

You would be encouraged to bring your Mustang and either race or show it.

Otherwise, we encourage you to come watch and cheer for your favorite car(s) to win.

Charlie Geis
Competition Chair
Corvette Club of America

So I thought to myself, cool, there are plenty of other races to go to. Then the weekend of the race I get a call from the NVMC President to notify me that I got the waver and the race is on for the big black 4 door.
That was good news. So I spent the morning prepping the car for the event. So to make a long story short, when I arrived Sunday noon I spoke to Charlie and he had no idea what I was talking about. The plot thickens at this point. I said to myself “ I know this guy from somewhere”. Turns out he is the same guy that Fat Bastard eliminates in the final round of the NVMC shootout at Mason Dixon last year. Charlie Geis’s little blue Corvette has taken first place for the last two years until the Fat Bastard laid rubber on this dude. I suddenly see the connection and walked away. I bet he still has flash backs of Fat Bastards bumper where it bolding state " M A R A U D E R ". 10 minutes later the NVMC president pleads my case, but to no satisfaction. To my surprise several NVMC members packed up their rides and exited the track in protest. We traveled an hour to make this event and they were not pleased with the outcome. So we all just returned home.

Capital Raceway was not the problem, just the event team that day.

Two sides to every story though.

This guy could have been a 'better than everyone else' type around the strip with his expensive new car. The way he ran away, he didn't look like a hands on car guy but rather one who doesn't get dirty himself and doesn't respect those around the track that are greasy and filthy who are hands on pros. Anyone can have a perfect hot rod with a big enough checking account but those who put their sweat into it earned it to me.

I am no 'hands on' guy myself, but I look up to those who are amd I'm envious at times!

Agreed. Not only is it NOT funny, it's really low class to laugh as a guy watches his car go up in flames.

When I was running at the track last year, two Hondas blew up at the starting line...One guy was bouncing off the rev limiter for about 10 seconds waiting for the tree;
then POOF! ... no more revs!!!
Worse yet, The other Honda dumped the clutch and absolutely puked the entire reciprocating assembly through the oil pan and onto the track.

I did not laugh, nor did I start yelling names at the ricer...
I did get mad because that lane was shut down for an hour while they cleaned up all the oil from the track, resulting in a HUGE back-up in the staging lanes.
That lane was for ***** the rest of the night because of the V-TEC's pipe bomb impersonation.

Did you expect him to put the fire out with his bare hands? As much as I love my Z06, I'd be running for cover first and worrying about the car second if it were to burst into flames.

The owner of the car in the video is the friend of a friend. And from what I hear, he is not a snob by any means. The ricer shooting the video is simply a prick.

Mark - I tend to agree. Their emergency response system needs some revamping. Hope the vette owner had good insurance because that Vette is totaled IMO., :(

Here's a program you should run when you race.

on race {
if explode == true {
gotoAndPlay("RUNLIKEHELL");
else if {
gotoAndPlay("WIN");
}
}

If his insurance is like mine, it excludes racing. It that were my car with my insurance... well, it would be an expensive day at the track.

Run away from a fire sure, but run, run, and keep running completely out of camera range...No. He didn't stop running till the fire was out :)
I would have stayed close and would have ordered the idiot with the bottle to start spraying.

WOW! I know that a Nitrous 'BURP'/Explosion is a rare occurence....But after seeing the Vette and the Cobra get destroyed any thoughts that I had about using Nitrous on my MM are now completely gone.

I thought that there are all sorts of safeguards for NOS...WOT switch/minimum rpm activation switch, low fuel pressure switch, low NOS pressure switch, etc. to prevent such a catastrophe?
