Does anyone remember the statistic offered by Mercury regarding the percentage of Marauder customers who after purchasing would alter/customize their Marauders? I believe the percentage forcasted was 2%, but was this pertaining to SuperCharging, or just modifying in general?
If it was a forecast for general modifications then the researchers were way off the mark. We have over 2,700 members here on MM.net, (most of whom I'd guess have modified their Marauders). That's nearly 25%. ??? :dunno:
Can someone enlighten me?

The original statement was that "two percent of owners would modify their Marauder." So, today, that's 2% of 11,000+ owners.

Now I thought Mercury also said they kept the exterior 'simple' because they figured owners would customize it to their preference.

Am I right?

I would say that this forum is most likely to attract the 2%ers than not.
Anyone that wants to sit and talk abut cars is likely to monkey with them.
