MM is at the exhaust shop getting flowmaster 40s put in and then day after tomorrow I have a appointment to have 20% tint put in all the way around.

BTW, Georgia has no law for tint right now but the law is coming back next year so some shops will not tint darker than 32% but found one that will. Its my belief that if I have a reciept showing I bought it when it was completely legal to do so should count for something in front of a judge when disputing a ticket but anyway, thats a whole seperate issue :P

A Judge might excuse you once, but why even take that chance ?

Now all you need is some resonator-less Megs tips for that deeper sound with your FlowMasters.

Oh my God it is louder! It will take a few days to get used to the change in sound and for the new muffler smell to go away.

Can't wait for the tint and then for my eibach springs to come in the mail *dances around*

:up:I agree. I have the "resonator-delete" tips and they sound great. I had some fellow MCM members ask me during the last Dyno Day what I had done to the exhaust, and that was it, (at the time) ... just the deleted tips. Not too loud, (even at highway speeds) but just sounding different... like the car means business.
Talk to Wes, (wchain) one of our vendors here at Innovative Interceptors. He'll hook you up! :D

There is a tubular metal baffle that runs maybe 1/2 of the length of the OEM tips on the inside. You can't really see it at all unless you look directly inside your pipes, and even then you might have trouble seeing it.

The resonator deleted tips look exactly the same as your stock tips you have now, except the resonator that's inside of it isn't there. Hence, "delete". This makes the last bit of your exhaust a bit more "wide open", and increases/improves the sound.

I did my Flowmaster 40's at the same time as my Megs delete tips, and it made an incredible sound difference over the stock sound. I love it. I got my delete tips from Wes.

Just tell them that the legal team at MM.NET concurs with this logic. That will get them.

A buddy of mine used to get pulled over and ticketed for "bumpers too high off the ground" and would go to court with the owners manual showing it came that high from the factory. Dismissed all FOUR times.

I think you should reconsider the 20% tint. I had my tint installed in GA, with instructions to put in legal tint for Alabama, which is 32%. They did, and my car carriers certification stickers that it's legal Alabama tint. Yawn, you say? The police he in the AL carry light meters to check the tint. It isn't legal and you get a nice, expensive ticket and a demand to remove the tint.

Granted, GA has no law now and if there's going to be one next year, it's a safe bet the GA leo's are gonna also have light meters. I seriously doubt showing the judge your receipt will save you, even if it was put on before the law went into effect.

I dropped it off this morning for the tint (they were closed I dropped it off so early) so I called them a short while ago to make sure they had the keys and all.

I asked to make sure he knew what % tint to put and if he had my number and he goes yeah, 13%

I told him I thought we had agreed to 20% and he said all they had in was 6% 13%, and 35%. Arghh, I went with the 13%.

Watch me back into a police car within 5 days, thats my luck.
