Hey guys,
I read this forum often, but rarely post here. I have an CV '02 LX Sport with a Marauder MAF and airbox feeding an 04 PI airtube. www.cardomain.com/id/bonedriver (http://www.cardomain.com/id/bonedriver)
I had the K&N set up with my stock MAF and tube, but ditched it after getting the 80mm MAF. I was wondering if I installed just the cone filter/plate adapter to the MAF would it work if I only removed the Marauder Airbox. I thought I needed the brackets as well, but my observations are the kit moves the MAF forward a few inches from where it used to sit, so I would hate to buy the kit when all I needed was the filter/plate.
If anyone has the original kit parts list from their kit, could you post the part # for the filter and plate?

I felt the same way when I drove a Crown Vic, check out my join date :) Yeah didn't really start posting until October 04. You're welcome here anytime though, that is the greatest thing about the people on this forum.

I looked into getting a 2002 CV LX but missed out on it. The next week I found my Marauder on the local Lincoln Mercury dealer's used car lot. It was the first one I had ever seen on a used car lot and I bought it!
