HUH??? Is it a capacitor pack?...You still have to charge the battery, no matter what. I don't get it...maybe it's a NOS system for your battery! :D

I fail to see any benefit from this device. Although it's an over-simplification, your battery is nothing more than a huge capacitor, which by way of definition, is a voltage regulating/storage device. Putting a voltage regulator on a voltage regulator is redundant, and makes no sense, to me, whatsoever.:twocents:

I'm suspicious of the sales pitch. Lots of dramatic lingo presented in a refined manner. However, stuff like this, if it really works, doesn't go on sale with such a remarkable price cut. If it is all really this astounding, we would have seen it before, and from more popular sources. Moreover, there is no support for the claims of increased torque and better gas mileage, no testing by independent labs, no testimonials from experts, no data to crunch, which is to say that it's better, just because the advertisement says so. If "the proof is in the pudding", there no pudding, IMHO. Buyer beware, remember the "turbonator."

It's total bull, for the reasons Mike Poore gave. Although I don't possess a degree in electrical engineering, I've been in the electronics field for over 30 years and this device is nothing more than a very expensive solution in search of a non-existent problem.

Pass.

As an electrical engineer, I can't add anymore to what has been said by these folks with much more experience than I have.

Nothing in parallel with your battery can regulate the current from that device - nothing they put in the magic box can do that.

Looks like an expensive capacitor. Even if it were a shunt regulator, it would be an expensive heater.

As someone above said, a large battery is a good voltage source, and is pretty well regulated. Some stereo guys add capacitors close to their amps, but that's because they are drawing large currents for brief periods of time - the capacitor charges during "lulls" and helps the amps work correctly.

Putting one right next to the battery is pretty useless, in my opinion.

Dang, and I have three wired into my MM. I figured three so each one backs up the other.

If felt faster :burn:

Junk. No electrical knowledge here. The ad just sets of my bullcrap alert.

What is this certainly and where can I get it in mass amounts?

Lot's of tip-off's in the ad that this device will only benefit the pocket book of the seller. The 2 easiest tip-off's are "improved fuel economy" and "sells out in 24-48 hours".

Considering all the expense the car companies go to meet their CAFE standards (not to mention the heat they're getting on mpg of their very profitable SUV's), if anything would actually improve fuel economy, you can bet Detroit would be using it.

Nothing that is manufactured ever really sells out. More can always be made and in the meantime you tell the cash paying customers that the item is on "backorder".

WOOOO... pretty LED lights flash red & green.
Some people will try and sell anything - and some people will buy it!
