The latest.

I've put T-67 ala S55 on the rear right tail light. I am not very happy with it as it is now (See pics). So I sent an email off to Bob White Decals to get it right. I want the font to be concept "MARAUDER" correct.

What do you think....?

Didn't Pontiac have a Tempest with a T67 designation - in 69 or 70. I like being as stealth as possible, but ultimately the T-67 means little to anyone but us in the know - so that may be good or bad depending on how you look at it,

With the right font - YES!

I'm not in the know. What does it refer to?

I'd skip it. It kind of looks like a fleet designation or something.

The tail lights look cool.

From what I can tell the S55 looks like a sans serif bold maybe italic something like Universe Black. I do like the look of the rear end the silver treatment of the lights along with the spoiler looks fantastic. but agree the t-67 doesn't mean enough.

Thanks guys!!

"T" is for "Trilogy"
"67" is for the 67th Trilogy car

The right font is essential. Those who don't understand, so be it. I'll know what it means, as will the other MM owners. <-- um, doesn't that sum up MM ownership :D

I see you're having font trouble. How about this:

Thats the gist of it!! Yes. Hopefully BWdecals can do it in the S55 font (same as the marauder font on the bumper I think) with reflective black.

Should be able to. The decals they make for the Marauder insert are sweet.

I thought so too, but on the car it looked like "767" which reminded me of the airplane 747. I changed to a narrow hyphen for the above pics. If BWD can make decals, I will try them w/o the hyphen first.

Try making the "T" larger than the "67" If you look carefully at the S55 badge, the "55" part is actually offset lower than the S.

Love the look of the car all silver'd out. I don't like the number tho. Looks like a fleet number or a taxi cab number.

Not only do you have a Font issue ( I assume the t-67 is your trilogy number) but there is the hyphen in your number that the S55 doesn't have.

What about doing the letters as an outline.... So that the middle of the letter / number is silver but the outter edge is black. Sort of like the numbering they put on the bumpers of the Cobras... (tries to remember which year that was)

That or.. Trilogy 67

Not on the tail light. It's the same font.

Dam, ya got me! They will be in (for the front bumper) this week! Ala Saleen.

I am thinking of doing away with the dash....

Wouldnt they be too small if the numbers were just outlines?

Charlie, for what it's worth, I like the spelled out Trilogy idea followed by the number, best. Perhaps using the script they use on the engine plate, but, then again, it might be too "busy". The other stuff with the tail lights and rear license plate surround is very distinctive. Anyway, lots of good comments and helpful ideas.
BTW, Charlie, there used to be places, Trim Line, I think, who made up special stuff in just about any faunt and color/configuration you could think of. Dunno if they're still around. :)

Ok perhaps it was the Saleen... :D I'm old... I remember pretty faces but can't always remember where I remember them from !

You know, I don't know if they would be too small... you can make the outline of the number / letter fairly substantial... of course ... I'm in Germany at the moment on a business trip ... so I don't have access to my MM to kind of gauge my idea against !

What type of paint did you use on your lights? I would like to do mine but when I asked my body shop if they could spray them... they said that the paint they use on the body would eat up the plastic light lens. :alone:

i think the font that matches the best is Helvetica Neue in a bold, condensed, oblique stlye... such as the attached image:

I think it would be nice if Trilogy made these and sent them with each supercharger, denoting what serial no. it is.

I do like the look of the rear end the silver treatment of the lights along with the spoiler looks fantastic. but agree the t-67 doesn't mean enough.Although it could be a Universe, it looks like a Helvetica Black extended italic. It's DEFINITELY "extended"--perhaps extended even more than the standard extended typeface is set (typically done manually in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign, QuarkXpress, or whatever they used to layout the type). I would suggest going to a vinyl cutter (sign shop) and have them cut the type for you. Any type foundry brand's "Helvetica-like" font will do as long as it is the brand's "Helvetica-like" (they name the typeface something else to avoid copyright infringement) BLACK, EXTENDED ITALIC. The "black" designation means "extra bolded" type (in order of lightness to heaviness, the Adobe monikers are: "thin, light, medium, heavy, black") For it to look its best, the letters need to be TIGHTLY kerned (very small letter-spacing) to look professionally typeset.
