About the only thing I've found so far that I don't like is checking the transmission dip stick. You have to be a contortionist to check the fluid level, plus I end up scraping the back of my hand on the firewall reaching for the stick.

I wonder if all the large RWD Fords are like this, or just the Marauder, (or even just mine)? It would be so much easier if the stick were over to the side a bit, so that it could be reached easier.

Oh well, better than the new FiveHundred with the CVT, as it does not even have a transmission dip stick to check. The FiveHundred with the Six Speed Auto has a very short transmission dip stick that looks more like a toy than a dip stick.

My '04 MACH 1 was just as bad, except I did not have to lean over so far to reach it.

All of my CV's had the trans dip stick like the MM....Hadr to get to even though I'm 6'2" as well!! :argue:

It looks to me like they could reposition the tube and extend the stick a bit but this is one of very few complaints I have about the car!!?? :(
