No, not THAT kind...
Has anyone changed the illumination color of their AutoMeter gauges and now has the little green booties left over? I'll gladly take them off your hands...

I left mine off and kind of wish I hadn't. Not that the pure white light is bad, but it doesn't match the greenish color of the main gauges. I'm keeping mine, though, as I'll put them back on... someday. Getting the gauge bezel back in place by the shifter was a cast iron b*tch. I'm not looking forward to doing that again.

You can buy them at an auto parts store. I got them at Kragan's for less than $5 for a package of three. They had to special order but it only took two days. You can get them in one of four colors. The Autometer part #s are: Blue -- 3207
Yellow- 3208
Red --- 3214
Green - 3215
As I recall I gave the Kragan counterman the Autometer part # and he found it in his system real fast.

Thanks, valleyman! I didn't know AutoMeter had them for sale separately...

OK - the OEM booties are NOT the same as the green OR blue booties that are available separately from AutoMeter (see part #s above). Coloration at night is not the same! GRRRRR.
Does anyone have 2 original booties that you're not using because you replaced your gauges? The BunnyLady would be forever grateful! :bunny2:
