Notice the wood grain inserts on all (4) doors, AC vents & steering wheel.

Know what else? There's no clock in the dash, or gas lid release button, AND it has traction control. If it's an '03 that would make it an interesting SR# for the database. ;)

Why would the car have all those wood-grain parts? Think it's been wrecked and had the wrong parts replaced?

Hey Ryan, that makes yours one of those interesting crossover models. Please send the engine #'s to Merc, your SR# to Royal, and other data to Mary for the database. I think, it's the engine/transmission, and now the control arms added to the mix, that make it an '03 or '04, not what's on the title. From what you're saying, I'd say you have an '04. Do you have a full size spare, long o'head console, and map pockets in your seats? :)

I have a rather long overhead console but no pockets or full spare. I thought I had a 300B from what I have read.

Date in door is 12/02

That would be a 300B my friends. And the wood grain interoir is an aftermarket "stick-on" kit.All in all not to shabby.

Anyone else notice he took pics of the wheels and tires but not of the tread? I bet those back ones are bald....and IIRC this MM was on ebay a few months ago, same pics......

Looks to be an '03 and 1/2..with part decontented -----and yes .. was on e-bay earlier with same pics as mentioned--and I believe since it didn't say it had a Reserve, that implies there is none--correct?....my .02C....Tom

Technically there is no "reserve," but, if I understand the new format, he has the price at which you can "buy it now" or you can make an offer. He is free to accept or reject any offer.

So, the effect is the same as if he had a reserve - that is, he doesn't have to take the highest offer if he thinks it's too low.

Its "Buy It Now" so there is no bidding, you want it, you click it,you buy it. That guy's been driving it for a while now....

Judging by the VIN, It is a late 2003. I would ask for the original steering wheel back. The perforated leather sets it apart from all of the others.

In searching the internet for the last couple of months I ran across this car being sold at a dealership in Honesdale PA.

And i'm sure you are right about the it being listed earlier on ebay.
At that time it also had an XM radio mounted in the overhead sunglass compartment.
Guess it got lost some where between PA. an NY.
At the time the dealership was asking 22,995.00 and this guy was asking 24,995.00, maybe he has it on consinement.
I see that the price has since dropped.
I went on to purchase a 04, but I.m sure this is the same car. Maybe the 200 miles came from a trip north from PA. to NY.

I believe that code could be changed and the possibility of seeing that Marauder are slim to none IMO.

Actually.....You have a choice to "Buy It Now" Or you can choose "Submit Best Offer"
It's the seller choice to accept or reject your offer.

Those are self adhesive overlays, they are avalable in other colors/woodgrain carbon fiber ect.
The steering wheel is from town car/navigator and is perforated leather

I smell orignal dealer enhancement. First time I saw woodgrain inserts on an MM, I asked about them and the owner said the dealer put them on before he bought the car.

Using the same Matrix design as the dash trim might look cool.
