Yesterday after going to the store with my wife, the Check Engine Light came on when I started the car to come home. I have checked the gas cap (everything seems to be fine there). Maybe I got a bad batch of gas on the last fill-up or maybe some water got into the fuel line. :dunno: The tank is sitting on full ... so there's little to no room to add any "good" gas. So far the light has not reset. Hopefully, another cold start and drive this AM will do the trick. The owner's manual says it make take 3 cycles. I hope this problem just goes away today as a 'temporary situation'. In the 18 months that I have had the Marauder, I have not encountered any problems at all. I am a little confused over this one ..... If it turns out to be the gas ... looks like I will strike one Sunoco station off my list.

If you had a SuperChips MicroTuner it could tell you what the code is.
Have you tried disconnecting the battery? If the light does come back on, then it is a 'hard fault'.

Most Auto Parts stores will run a scan for free to determine the computer code that caused the lite to come on.

The Check Engine light has finally cleared itself ... probably just a burp in the fuel system (or maybe a loose gas cap??). All seems back to normal again with no other indicators of problems. I'll be switching my usual gas station though ...
