Well it was another great get-together at Big Bat's on Kent Island today. :D Although the CAM group was missing several of the regulars this time (Mike Poore, MarauderMark, Joe Walsh, Brutus, Badger, Murader03, and BigDogJim), there were a few new members who showed up to join in the fun.

Welcome :welcome: to Tom Doan, G-Man, and Ricka11. :2thumbs: Hope you all had fun and will join us some more at future meets.

I chased Merc all the way from Virginia listening to that beautiful tailpipe music. :bows: Big House came with all the little houses. And MyTMerc finally had company on the long drive up from southern MD.

Thanks to Haggis and Ladyhawke for the Eastern Regional T-Shirts. Very nice !!!

I have attached some pics from today's activities.

Well it was another great C.A.M meet full of surprises. Big House and his family made the trek. He is building another fast N/A car and was able to find new performance ideas. Although Haggis and Ladyhawk come in the hooptie they brought the golden Marauder ring for display. G-man and I gave an exhibition of exhaust systems in a tire burning brake scorching 2 block sprints. Mymerc and his friend attended the meet also. I know she thinks we are crazy, car crazy that is. Tom Doan showed up from VA. This was his first C.A.M. meet and he was excited about the tuning possibilities for his car. Ricka11 is building a nice hot rod mercury; I will let him tell the story.

Anyway, on the way back home G-man got a flat tire. We quickly addressed the problem and got the spare installed without getting killed. We just missed by seconds some heavy rain and thunderstorms. I gave the G-man a escort back to Northern Virginia were he made it safely home. Too much excitement. I got home at 7:45 , traffic was really bad.

:pimp:Hi all,

The wife and I just wanted to let everyone know that we had a great time. It was a pleasure meeting all of you. We look forward to the next time that we can meet up.

Merc, Thank you for your assistance. I'm also glad that no one got killed, the associated paperwork is horendous:). Although, I have had a few roadside encounters and am used to looking over my shoulders, if you know what I mean. I have a great picture of the tire. Has a nice whole right in the center of the tread....I'm just not quite sure where it came from:burnout:.

Hi Everyone....Sorry I missed all the fun! :( ......I wish I could have made it and met all the 'first time attendees'.
I was up in Manchester, Md. at a birthday party.
Saturday CAM meets seem to be much tougher for me to attend.
Hopefully, I'll be good for the next CAM meet.

P.S. Gordon, I got your voice messages on my cell phone when I was driving home from Manchester @ 7:00 pm. Thanks for trying to check in with me.

Missed you on this trip Mike. :( SOB wasn't able to make this one ... and he was sure disappointed that he missed the G-Man's car. :D Merc can fill you in on George's production facility. He has expanded his offerings to Maryland and Virginia State Police cars, DC Metro Police, Alexandria Police, as well as their Fire and Rescue cars. Now he is also doing Ford Explorers and Expeditions for the OWL and Dale City VFDs, too !!!

He said that he has a Maryland State Trooper car for MarauderMark; but I forgot to take it yesterday.

Do you need to own a Marauder to go to these CAM meets?

Shoot, I guess I better go out and buy a Marauder so that you guys don't think that I'm full o' :bs:......

I will guarantee you that you will see the Cobra before you see my 'ghost' Marauder.....I'm looking at another month to get 'er all back together.
