Uhem, . .

I call it DTZR - Dark Toreador Zaino Red. :D

The full treatment! Clay Bar, Z-5 w/Z-FX then Z-6.

This is the wax. Hands down the best I have ever used! :bows: :bows:

Those are some pretty nice pictures. Probably looks even better in person - to see all the reflections moving around on the car? :)

The work wasn't that bad. Time consuming as I love this car!

I have had the Zaino for a while and finally got around to pampering her all day.

Start to finish about 6 hours. A little time was waiting for the wax to dry and detailing under the hood.

Two coats of Z-5 and two coats of Z-6.

The finish is like glass.

Thanks for the kind words!

That looks incredible! You're right, doesn't the finish feel as smooth as the glass?

Enjoy turning all those heads!!

Thanks Rider,

I was going to meet Steve (Embassy) after dinner and while cruising in the right lane on I-64, I heard and saw in my rear view mirror, this pocket rocket in the left lane coming up on me probably doing 100+.

This guy gets about 5 car lengths behind me and suddenly starts downshifting to beat hell. He managed to slow down to the speed limit by the time he was next to me. :D

Not only was I on the prowl but knowing someone thinking I was a LEO, made my evening.

Found myself driving slower hoping to get more looks than before. :)

Looks damn good. If you want to take it up another notch try the new Z8 Grand Finale Spray.

Mike,
It looks great. I did the same thing this weekend. I did the clay bar, one coat of Z5, followed by Z6, then another coat of Z2, finished off with Z8. It's smooth and has a deep shine. It's great stuff.

Z6,Z5, Z2, Z8....what the heck are you guys talking about? How many different concoctions does Zaino offer?

BTW Mike, it looks like those pics were taken under a cloudy sky, right? How's it look under the sun? Did the clay bar get rid of those fine scratches?

Zaino is a multi step, multi product procedure. Read about it here. (http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc)

Soon as I get my garage cleaned from winter I'll have to see how it does on Black.

Window tint will keep them guessing when they think of passing!;)

The color's shine and depth are impressive.

Excellent work, Mike.

It is time for my detail session and Zaino application.

Lookin' good my fellow DTR brethren.

DTR & Zaino play well together don't they ?.

 What was this week-end, get the DTR's all nice and shiny? I worked on my black one (sorry no pics), using the clay bar and just good old Megauire's Classic Gold. Looks good, but I may have to get with the "Z" wax next time.

This is what happens with the Z48 mud bar, followed by 36 coats of Z59, and then topped off with a few drinks and a ZZTop CD. Be careful guys, you can over do it.

Car looks awesome. I'm a Zaino user for life. BTW, they have a new detail spray out.

Did the clay bar get rid of those fine scratches?

Clay bars don't remove scratches, only contaminants stuck in the paint. Actually, I've ended up with more fine scratching after clay barring. That's why I bought the random orbit buffer to polish them out.

I was aksing that because Mike had told me that it might remove some very fine scratches that he had that are usually only noticeable in bright sunlight at certain angles up close. ;)

Heh he. As many as they can get people to buy.

Heh he. As many as they can get people to buy. I was pretty cynical about Zaino at first, but not after seeing the results.
