I finally got my DriveRight OBD II Carchip E/X [not the Reinhart kind]

This thing plugs into the OBD port under the steering wheel and records all kinds of cool stuff about your driving. I ordered this thing months ago and they finally shipped me mine. here is a screenshot of my first trip to get pregnant wife some orange juice [with calcium, of course]. Took a detour onto Lake Shore Drive and opened her up.

The date is wrong because I was in such a hurry to get into car I did not bother to sync the chip clock against the computer clock.

Yours looks cool though, and certainly cheaper than the COMP PRO.

I want one of these. Yours apparently plugs in, the COMP PRO utilizes a suction cup. Remember that post?

with mine you drive the car; then pull the plug and download the data to your computer; the Comp Pro give you real time data and is less expensive; I think the one I got will store more info.

I am not sure if they were backlogged or what. I know its a new product and possibly they did not have them ready to ship. I ordered in mid-December and waited patiently. They did not charge my credit card until a few days ago.

I leave it in the car and only download the info once in a while since it holds so much.

Here is an example of the trip I took to Del Rhea's for the Windy City Marauder gettogether. In addition, there is another screen which shows the 6 parameters I chose in 6-second increments for the entire trip.

don't bother with G-techs. It's actually more accurate to go to the track, get your 1/4 mile times and use a horsepower calculator
