I still don't know what the S55 thing is:confused:
These are shots of an S55 Marauder taken at Marauderville 2 last year. In the old days, the designation meant "Marauder" when the code was ordered, sorta like Z28 and the Camaro. Some lines, like the Montclair, had an S55 code which made them either a Marauder or Super Marauder.

Anywho, the SEMA car certainly used the emblems to harken back to the days of this car:
