This may have been discussed...could not find it...but my MM has a vibration starting at 65 mph and quits when I get over 75...this is the speed where I usually drive on interstates so it is quite annoying...it is not continuous but like ever 1 to 2 seconds you can feel it...this has been going on with different tires but always at the same speed...could this be the drive shaft? has anyone else encountered this? what was the fix...it is so bad my dash is now making noises with the vibe...thanks ahead for your imput...willie

I have a steering wheel vibration around 80 (rush hour). It comes and goes and on one occasion was quite severe. I'm wondering if it could be water in the wheel.

I had the same problem at about the same speed,, alignment to correct specs and a road force balance made it disappear

Prchrman, I have a vibration to, about the same speeds, mine feels like its coming from the rear end. I took a local mechanic for a ride with me, he said to get the car road force balanced.
Joe.

Thanks Joe,
The vibration in mine feels like it is all over...I live in a small town that does not have nor probably never heard of road balance...also live 20 miles from a road of more than 55 mph speed limit...will take in to Ford place and have checked...OBTW have you had it road force balanced? willie

If your car has been stored, or not driven for a while, you might have flat spots where the tire has made extensive contact with the ground over a long period of time, maybe several months. Once you hit a certian speed, you'll feel a vibration. This could be yet another possibility, but not exactly for certian.

Last month I purchased a used 2003 MM, dec 02, which is an AB, Drove on the freeway home and between 65 and 70 MPH the vibration comes from front. The MM has new tires in rear and used tires in front. I believe you guys are right! After hot doging my older muscle cars the tires would be out of balance. (the cars were new then) I would burn off some of the rears and then rotate them and burn off if necessary.
what are you guys able to do? Rotate to Rear? Or only have a machine true them?
Jim
