Using the recipe ala Mac, I will be doing the Vinegar mixture today while I clean the car getting it ready for tomorrow. Never done anything like this so it seems kinda odd but I'll give it a shot. 50/50 Right?
I waxed the car 2 weeks ago, should I mix dish soap in too so I can definatly strip the wax (Mothers) ?
Also, Vinegar is NOT Vegetable Oil right? Yeah I'm not the master chef, but its all I see in the kitchen so I wanted to make sure...

A 50/50 mix is fine, you can use less. Don't mix this with soap, this is a rinse after washing the car. Again, I have no idea of it's effect on wax.

If it is just a rinse, do I make the mixture and just dump the bucket along the car? Apply with a sponge?

I guess you could do that, but wouldn't you miss spots? I just wipe the car down like I'm washing it again, and dry. You got a leaf blower?

Alright well today I washed, polished, waxed, and cleaned under the hood for Sunday's Chicken Run.
The vinegar trick was great and it works. Before I started washing anything, I took a bucket, a bottle of vingar, and got the water hot in the sink. I chose hot (verses warm) since it will cool down a little while I was washing the car. Anyways I did about 50/50, stunk up the kitchen, and brought it outside. I cleaned like I would normally do with suds and after I was done I walked around one more time getting everything wet.
I then used a sponge and the vinegar/water mix and went over the car. I pulled it inside, and most of the water had already beaded and some had just slid off the car, but it only took one side of a towel to dry the whole car and there wasn't a single water spot anywhere to be found  Usually I use up to two full towels, and there are still water spots that I have to rub off.
Before all of this I cleaned the engine. It was cold, and I covered up the K&N Conical, wet everything down, then poured almost half a gallon of simple green in the heavily greased areas. I used a NEW toliet brush to scrub the engine and compartment for about 10 minutes, then sprayed it off, and used the air compresser to aid in drying. Looks Great!! Followed that up with "3M Plastic Polish" on the plastic areas and everything looks very nice. Mac, you will see for yourself tomorrow.
I used Meguiar's Deep Crystal Polish on the paint followed by their paste wax giving it a great long lasting shine teamed in RainX on all the windows. I clayed the car a couple weeks ago and I think I will do it again in another couple weeks, for those that have done it, there is just nothing else like it
Excellent Advice Mac, feel free to share more
