My understanding is after 400 miles it's used even as a demo that was never owned. Basicly it fits both discriptions as it went past 400 miles and was "pre-owned" by the dealership as now a "demo car". It was never owned because it was never bought by anyone. But hey, your right, at 400 miles they could sell it anyway they want. This was the way it was explaned to me at the dealership I got my Marauder from. They also said that after 400 miles used car prices apply.

It looks beautiful, it either has a bad battery or the charging system has a problem. The picture of dash, engine is running the voltmeter show about 11.5 volts.

Still 463 miles....if only I had 25k lying around....:D

That isn't necessarily so. I bought my dealer driven 2003 with 2k and it was considered brand new. I don't know the mileage requirement but it is higher than 2k.

Also, if the car has never been titled... it is then a new car.... not preowned.
So the warranty will start at the time of this sale. (as did mine... I have 3 years from this past January)

To me it looks like a good deal... if one had to have a new one. I doubt the market value supports the $25k but ...

What if the the guy who drives these off the line in St Thomas has "very bad gas"???? In your book, would all vehicles from that factory be used because of him??????! Or would the plastic on the seat protect the leather from this???!

It is known as the "plastic seat cover exclusion" to the afore stated rule.

Interesting car. Up top on the ad it mentions the vehicle is still documented on a "manufacturer's statement of origin" (MSO) and later in the text mentions a clean title (???) It might be that it was sold between licensed dealerships on a bill of sale accompanied by the MSO or maybe was originally purchased with the intent to export it. Either way, if the MSO hasn't yet been surrendered to some state's DMV for a title or had any sales tax paid on a "sale" .... it probably should be considered a "new" car with 400 miles on the clock. Dealerships certainly sell off demo's with alot more miles on them than that as "new".

Build date is 9/6/02.

The battery was replaced on 5/14/04 at 54 miles.

I purchased mine with 277 miles on it Brand New and got the dealer to consider it a Demo being they had 2 other MM's with less miles on the lot which ment mine was used as a Demo.........
