Hi Guys

We have contacted Logan about being a supprting vendor, and it is in the process of being set up. We manufacture 304 s/s headers and exhaust systems for the Marauder and have introduced the following products:

We would be happy to install these for a great deal to members in the Ohio area. We installed a set on a car that Strope Speed shop dyno'd, which had a Trilogy Motorsports supercharger. The car picked up 44 RWHP-max power went from 364.1 to 408.6, and torque increased from 372 to 385. Best of all, it made more power and torque throughout the curve-not just peak numbers, and that was without re-tuning the car to take advantage of the better flowing headers and exhaust system.

Please call us at 800-878-3635 if we can be of help. We can also recommend reputable shops in other areas, like Stropes, that we deal with who can do the tuning and installation work.

Thanks
Al Noe

Good to see another set of headers for the Marauder market, im not much of a fan of Kooks headers.

Hey Al who designed your guys website?

Glad to see another alternative.

I have Stainless Works headers on my Corvette and I have been very happy with the fit, sound, performance, and quality of them.

Can you provide any details on how difficult the install is?

I can't say how happy I am to see a choice now, a choice between "headers" that is.

I have Reinhart/Cobra manifolds, and I love them. I was the first to test them, and I got 30 RWHP and 30 RWTQ improvements from Reinhart's kit, power I can prove.

Later on and after that, a "header" kit from Kook's became available. I watched this development very closely ever since, reading all the "end user" comments posted here. Despite glowing user reports, I could not find enough power in "switching up" to Kook's headers, to justify the difference in money spent. Kook's are not that much "up" on my MM power scale, as they were on my money scale. I heasitated to buy them, even at a group buy cost, but I did. I came to sell them still in the box, just to recover my investment. All that seperated them from what I had in place, IMHO, was the cost (and time) of installation.

So, having the power in hand (thanks to Dennis and his Cobra exhaust), I could not jump on the Kook's train. It was passing by too fast for me.

Against the scale of power developed, Kook's just didn't figure in my checkbook, but there hasn't been any other choice for us until now. All along, it's been Cobra manifolds, or, Kook's headers, and this was never a level playing field for any of us consumers. "Thank you Col. Sanders, but there is more than one way to fry a chicken", eh?

Now..."Header" numbers are tempting me again, not just as peak numbers, but with the power that's improved much lower in the RPM/power spectrum.

"Long tubes" make better low end power, K? Anyone who knows engines and power knows this. But, no one would build them for us, and it's great to see long tube headers finally available to us 4V DOHC and long bodied cars, and at a reasonable "end user" cost, and in T-304 stainless too! Whew, was that one sentence? One thought?

Finally!

Whew!

Bravo, Al, welcome to our site and thanks again!

BTW, before any of us get our undies in a bunch, I have spoken with Mr. Al Noe, and I know about the "before and after" dyno data explored and collected from a Roots/Trilogy MM, and both Al and I expect the benefits of this custom exhaust system to improve centrifugal based S/C systems even more. Sorry guys, not much to argue about here, what's good for a Roots car, is even better for a centrufugal car.

Ya gotta love technology development, it never stops marching forward.

Wow! Another choice is great! Glad to hear about the complete headers / exhaust system. Can't believe how close by they are.

Mat

Come by our shop for a tour any time. We are located at 9899 east washington street, chagrin falls, ohio 44023. I will be in Columbus at the NHRA race on Friday but any time next week would be great.

If you are interested in the headers, we would install them for you at 1/2 off our normal labor rate-that would save you about $250, and you don't have to get your hands dirty:) . This goes for all of our customers that will bring the car in to us and drop it off-we usually have the car for 2-3 days because we always run a backlog of work. And, if you need/want the car tuned, we also have local tuners who will do a great job for you.

Thanks
Al Noe

Sgt Mac,

Curious, is the 30hp/30tq gain with your SC setup, or was it NA?

Cheers,
Sameer

Sorry, Sameer, it's not appropriate for me to reply here. This is a thread about a new product for our Marauder. If you really need an answer to this question, drop me an e-mail at Sergntmac@aol.com, or, open a new thread among us, k?

Hrmm....

Mine still being bone stock and probably not eligible for a s/c just yet (budget wise.) The header/cat option is seeming like it might be a good investment
regardless. Are there any ideas/numbers on what kinda performance would be
had on a stock motor with cat back being stock? I probably could justify
new mufflers too but probably not a whole x/h pipe setup....

Any thoughts from the n/a crowd?

I am interested since i missed the kooks group buy. Do you have a price on the complete setup from headers to tail pipe, are the headers coated, do you coat them for extra $. Do you have pics of a complete setup on a MM. Let me know, I am bored.

I will definately stop by your shop when/if I ever get in town for more than a weekend.

I wish you were around when I was in the want...I jumped on the KOOKS bandwagon as soon as they were available.

Can't wait to meet you sir. ;)

I, too would like the price from header to tailpipe, minus the mufflers though. I like my magnaflows. But please get back to me on the cost because I am a serious inquiree. Also, would you consider another group rate???

Sounds like you want what is described above as the 'MAUCAT' system offered: Headers, Cats, and X-PIPE. Aside from any number of mufflers, nothing else is needed to modify our exhaust. Expect to deduct anywhere from $75-$150 for mufflers excluded.

The dyno numbers are posted as well. All (two) of the available long tube header kits currently available for our cars produce near similar increases.

Why not just call his shop. It's easier than post tag. ;)
