While looking through my Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords mag, I came acrosse some more possible meets for those of us that are willing to race.

June 11th Saturday
Ford & Mustang vs Camaro Firebird Challenge

It gives us a chance to show those chevy boys why GM no longer makes their precious F-bodies.

Being That its F-Bodies against Mustangs, Are they going to allow us to run?? Or are we Stuck being Spectators in the parking lot?

He did say Ford & Mustangs. Good question though. We'll have to wait for the details when he gets them.

I honestly don't see why they wouldn't. A year or two ago I watched a event like this and wouldn't you know, Marauders were running.

Also If they give you problems (which I doubt) The Marauder was built by Ford in a Ford plant, tecnically making it a Ford. :D

By tomorrow at the latest I should have all the guidelines and rules for it.

11, Sat********** Street Muffled vehicles only AM Session -* Time Trials + Ford/Mustang vs Camaro/Firebird Challenge 3 + Pro Dial Dash 3 + Corvette Challenge + Pro 8 + Central Jersey Mustangs and Fords Car/Truck Show. Open 9AM.
*********************** PM Session- Time Trials + RS + TSB + HS. PTS Open 3PM.

It's ford & mustangs VS F-body, it used to be just mustangs VS F-body but then a bunch of lightning owners got mad and they all showed up and raceway park took notice. They switched it to Ford & Mustangs VS F-body to accommidate the lightning owners. However since the even is titled FORD & Mustang VS F-body, any and all FORD powered vehicles are allowed into the ford side. We would be able to compete in this event. Same thing goes for Ford & Mustang VS Grand National/The World. Wouldn't mind having a meet at a racing event, that would look pretty sweet.

By this weekend I should have the time qualifying starts for this event, And if any of you are worried about not being able to race because of your car being a Merc (highly unlikely) I'll do some quick drawings of the Ford oval and we'll scotch tape them over the Mercury emblems :D ;) :banana2:

I was going to go but i'm going to be tagging along with a friend to a lightning cruise for a dyno day. Sorry everyone.
