I am pleased to report that my MM is now in the hands of a NEW owner.
Having to part with it was SAD, but necessary.

It was my desire to see the car purchased by an enthusiast and so it was!!
The new owner is located in the Atlanta area and is also a member of this website.

I congratulate him on his 'good taste' in selecting a Marauder to stable mate with his other collector cars.

If you're happy I'm happy...

UNLESS...you purchased something under 302 Horse Power...

What did you get?

Nothing purchased to date.
What would I get that could possibly surpass the MM??
There has to be a 'proper' period of mourning before contemplating another buy!!

Maybe the best shot to take would be buying another MM with ALL the after-market "goodies" already in place.
I can think of SEVERAL people on this site that I would proposition....in the UNlikely event they would want to sell.
Patience and perseverance is key to that door.

Patience and perseverance is key to that door.I see so many people on here who have sold their MM's for no apparent reason and then are sorry... ..some of them have gone on to buy stangs , then, are sorry....is it some sort of fascination with the stang's image????? You can't be happy and in mourning ...that's an oxymorron...

Clearly the solution is to park a Mustang in the garage next to the Marauder. :)

I can't speak for all those folks who have decided to part with their Marauder.
However, in my case it was necessary due to many factors...none of which was financial.

First off, I bought the MM on a whim. "Love at first sight".
Everything about the car said 'buy me'.

Having more money than sense (or so I've been told), I contacted my dealer friend and struck a deal I could not refuse.
The MM was a dream to drive and THE car to be seen in, if that is important.
The problem was; and only became more obvious that I could not maintain the car in a manner befitting it. Namely, environment and housing.

I own/live on a farm and the nearest paved road is approx. 5 miles distant. Dirty car out/dirty car in, etc. Black is beautiful when its clean!!
Additionally, a barn is NOT the most hospitable place to house a fine automobile. Birds and vermin take no heed to things of beauty...and YES, I designed a 'zipper bag' to enclose the entire car for better protection.

But lets be serious...a car, ANY fine car is meant to be driven and lavished with TLC...and that takes time. So it becomes a matter of priorities.

I loved that damn Marauder...probably one of the finest automobiles I have ever owned from a drivers perspective...but I just could not continue to see it compromised.

So I had a long discussion with my dealer friend and he agreed to re-purchase the car at a most generous price...another offer I could not refuse!!

I'm happy that another enthusiast, one with the proper housing and attitude toward fine automobiles now owns the car. He is a collector and will care for the MM in a manner best suited for it.

We can best summarize this dissertation by saying, perhaps logically, I should never have bought the car due to the limitations stated.
But when you're a compulsive behavior type person like me, some times (most times) logic falls short when LOVE comes into view....

Me and that Marauder had a hell of a fling while it lasted!!
