Okay guys, listen up!
Based on the current Poll (thanks again Dan!), it looks like we have about 48 orders for the badges and I need a set or two myself, so we should be at right around 50 sets.
Here is how it will work. I will be taking pre-paid orders for the badges. I am going to give everyone about two (2) weeks (until Friday, June 10, 2005) to send in their orders and payments. After that, I will no longer take pre-paid orders and I will order enough badges to cover the pre-paid orders and maybe I will order a few extra sets (but let me be clear, if you don't get a pre-paid order in there is no guaranty that you will get badges at all and I may have to charge you even more for the badges ;) ).
I am a lawyer (barely) and not a salesman, so the following is not a sales pitch: This may very well be the last time that these badges are made. The car is now long out of production and most of the cars have been accounted for. So, unless the demand in the future warrants it, I will not be making any more badges. Heck, given my latest purchase, I may be turning my attention to producing Mustang parts.
If you want in on the deal, here is what you need to do: Send me an e-mail at martin_ochs@hotmail.com and put the words "Fender Badges" as the subject. I will send you back an e-mail with instructions on where to send payment. The price will be $49.95 per set with no delivery charges, regardless of how many sets you order.

This is a duplicate of my post in another thread, but I think it works here too.

Note that there are two badges in one "set", one for the driver's side of the car, one for the passenger side, and the flags point towards the front of your MM. This is the way it was back in '63.

If any of y'all are on the fence about these badges, let me say they are of the highest quality I have ever seen in aftermarket products. Snooze, you lose.

I just bought my Marauder from a former member. '04 DTR with everything. Only 1200 miles! I can't thank Marty enough for making these badges again!

Remember, the order lines shut down on Friday, June 10, 2005.
Sales were a lot slower than predicted (some of those polled did not place their orders). As of last night's mail, I don't even have close to the orders needed to get the minimum of 50 sets. Looks like this will be the last time badges are made. You have been warned!

It's a police interceptor badge that says MARAUDER with a white checkered flag. I think someone on CVN ordered up carbon fiber "CROWN VIC" badges at one time.
The only problem with the OEM badges is that over time due to sun fading or some other phenomenon that I cannot explain, the foil starts to degrade and black spots appear. And this is with years of being parked in the sun... none of your Marauders are probably old enough to experience this.

And this is with years of being parked in the sun... none of your Marauders are probably old enough to experience this. yes mine did the same thing and i used some paint cleansing lotion by pinnacle or aluminum polish and they cleaned up better than new :D my check was sent :banana2:

That's a fair question and the answer is "No, you still have time". I will give those people who sent checks on or before the 10th time to allow their checks to trickle in. I would figure that all of the checks should have made it to me by Wednesday the 17th and I will be calling the vendor on the 18th and placing the order.
